  • Which Zgemma is best

    Hi, I know this is subjective but recently moved to Thailand and may need to buy a new E2 box and Zgemma seem to be the main ones on AliExpress. I will be looking to hook up to satellite and the HS7 seems to be good with 3 tuners. Main use will be for IPTV so I am going to use openatv 7.4 image as I want to use BMX and Multistalker Pro. That is about my knowledge of these boxes as I use a Vu+ Solo 4k. Any advise will be appreciated as I want a good spec box and assumed H8 etc would be better as a higher revision but does not look like it. Please be kind :smiling face:

  • Metrix FHD neo for OpenATV

    In the skin and Infinitiy Neo I have an issue with it showing the EPG incorrectly, the Grid View shows it correctly but the normal view gets it wrong. You will see that on the normal epg it shows an entry downtime lefthand side for 10:45 Rip of Britain followed by 12:15 Bargain Hunt. You will see by the Grid EPG it is missing the program in-between of Homes Under The Hammer.


    Running openatv7.5 dev on a vu+solo4k, openatv7.4 also has the issue.


    Other skins do not appear to have this issue so assume it must be the Neo skins but open to correction

    You are also missing the port number before the ":"


    Should be something like

    I actually think it is a good idea if it can be set as playlist level as I have one supplier out of 6 that for some reason on FireTV will pull in 7 days epg but on my vu+solo4k only gets the next 24 hours, I have had contact with Kiddac but when the 7 days is added to the end of the line it pulls in nothing so he did a fix so it does not add the line but as said only gets the next 24 hours by hours.I know it is only 1 supplier but this supplier just happens to be my best supplier regarding quality of streams and uptime at virtually 100%. Not sure about going out 48 hours and beyond but every 12 would give me more epg data. Just my opinion and people can call it out if they disagree.

  • OpenATV 7.4 in 7.5 devel

    Hi, since the last update (7.5 (Level) 33036+bcbae78) my vu+solo 4k crashes when pressing the Red key that has been setup within the Hotkey Settings. It does not happen on the default MetrixHD but does on KiddaC's slykQ skin. If I roll back to my previous saved image from a couple of days ago it works without issue.

    If I remember correctly I also had an issue with the ipk but used the following file. I extracted the files with DreamExplorer and then manually copied to the relevant existing directories and restarted vu+ and away you go. No doubt someones knows a different way but worked for me

    i have installed it and configured it but has not been successful getting it working , it keeps spinning spinning and at the end stoped without connecting . every configuration file is correct. can it be that python 3 is going the way of monopoly , I mean selecting or validating only a handful or a specific Vpn company/companies . I have attached a screenshot .

    Runs perfectly on my vu+solo4k using PIA as my VPN supplier on both operate 7.4 and latest Egami build. In fact do not have any issues on openvix, openbh either

    because from what i read afterwards you will have to add the devel 7.5 file

    I also have a vu solo 4k and use openmultiboot. I have installed the nightly build of 7.4 that you can get through the updates menu and then in another image installed the 7.4 and ran the command to create the 7.5 dev build so can use either.

    Anyone else having issues since last update of 7.4dev? I run KiddaC slyk Q skin but it has broken options in many of the screens for me. They appear to work in the default skin for the image. If just me then I obviously have an issue. Restored from a backup that had all the same plugins installed and all ok again.


    If there is anything else I can do to help let me know as there is no crash log as box does not crash.


    UPDATE: do not know if feeds where changed but tried again this morning and everything now ok.

  • FEED DISABLED ATV 7.3

    Same here on vu+ solo4k. I installed the latest updates last night and it crashed my box repeatedly and I had to restore from my previous backup. I might be wrong but assume it may be something to do with this.
