I have copied the stalker.conf file to hdd/playlists.

The format is correct in both files and if I run multi stalker and load the portals it populates correctly.

Now I run

ln -sf /hdd/playlists/stalker.conf /home/stalker.conf

The conf file in hdd/playlists is the same format as it was, however the conf file in the home folder now gives the Failed to read error

If I open Filecommander I can see the file but if I try to select it I get a ‘The Directory/File no longer exists’ message, see attached screenshots. If I ftp to the box from my MacBook Pro and go to the home dir the stalker.conf file cannot be seen.

I do already use Multi Stalker and have numerous addresses added that all work as expected, it is only since trying to add this symlink that I have had ask for help.

first you give the command what you want to do, i.e. ln -sf

where ln is a command to create a link

-s is a parameter to create a symbolic link

-f is a parameter to overwrite a file that already exists in the given directory

then you enter the folder and which file should be used for the symlink - in your case

/hdd/playlist/stalker.txt

and where should this file be saved and what should it be called - in your case

/home/stalker.conf

and when you combine it all you will you get one command

I copied the stalker.conf to hdd/playlists as stalker.txt

Ran the following command

ln -sf /hdd/playlists/stalker.txt /home/stalker.conf

The file stalker.conf gets created in /home/ but when I go into Multi-Stalker/Portals/ and Load Portals I get a message of Failed to read /home/stalker.conf not found. If I chose yes then nothing gets returned. if I look at the contents of hdd/playlists/stalker.txt then the portals are shown.

Sorry for this but I do not see where I am going wrong as I believe I am following the command as sent

I know you probably think I should figure this out myself but I am tearing my hair out as I cannot get it to work. I have copied the stalker.conf file to

Could you please show how to to make the symlink or perhaps someone else would not mind stepping in. Sorry if I seem stupid but am 66 years old and know nothing about python programming.

Thanks for responding but have no idea how to do that so guess I need to start Googling

Great plug-in but is there a way to change where it looks for the stalker.conf file other than the home dir. I switch between several images so would like to store it on the hdd drive so when it is changed it is changed for all the images I used instead of each having its own file?

Is your line multi room so you have more than 1 connection, as you need to have that?

what version of CobaltFHD do you have? and what is the image? image version?

Sorry meant to say, openatv7.2, vu+ solo4k and cobaltfhd is Enigma2-plugin-skins-cobaltfhd3-atv_python3-v3_all.ipk

Sorry if question has been asked but cannot find where, the issue I have is that the picons for the channels do not show. I have them in hdd/picon and also added to usr/share/enigma2/picon but they do not show in the info bar. Also, when viewing in list mode I see one picon showing but the 2 boxes below do not. Other issue is when going to the long epg screen the programme description is not shown. Can anyone help on how to activate them, screenshots attached.

When you click epg it brings up the graphicalepg I think it’s called. When you then press menu it shows a blank screen with no options

If you go via the set menus where all the settings are and go to the epg/graphicalepg. You can see all the options

Something else wrong then on my system as it was clean install of WebMedia, wpupdate, cumination.

Installs only 1 version of each but puts them in General Sites rather than Adult, also creates an Adult entry in General. The entries however still create the error log on attempting to run. Tested on openatv 7.2 only. Log attached

To have Movie Browser working correctly , you need to refer to your Movie folder in setting and be sure names of Movie is clear

I am pointing the settings to media/hdd/movie which is where they are stored. Just copied the movies to a new folder and pointed to it and seems to work now.

Culmination, not adding to the Adult Section. It adding them twice to the General Section along with an Adult entry, see attachment. Select any of them and a crash log created, also attached. Vu+ solo 4k with openatv 7.2, not tried 7.1

UPDATE: Can confirm the issue on 7.2 is also present on 7.1
