Uninstalled old version and installed ipk for vuplus-team.com-oscampowervu-arm_OpenAtv-Rv779-11439_all.ipk.
Found correct dir. for keys.
Noticed in Live Log errors.
Now we are using both " /usr/keys " AND " /etc/tuxbox/config " directories.
Usually it's either or.
Why the big change?
Newbies would be interested.
Appreciate the effort much. But sheesh!:xmas2:

The default path when compiled and start script both point to /usr/keys directory
WebIf > files > oscam.version > ConfigDir: /usr/keys/
OScamPowervu.Arm.emu in /etc > startcam = /usr/bin/OScamPowervu.Arm -c /usr/keys
Default config path for other images is /etc/tuxbox/config.. This could be why its also checking there.
levi45 made the .ipk, maybe he can clarify this for you.

Here's what I did. The previous 11438 had configs and keys in usr/keys.
It was a manual install (no ipk). I backed it all up and removed all traces.
No listing in opkg list-installed to carry on with an uninstall.
Installed the new ipk listed in my subject line.
Found files in usr/keys. Restored my softcam.key file there.
Some channels decoded. Those that used to but did not now generated an error in live log ~ cant find.....in etc/tuxbox/config.
Created the config dir. placed my config and keys file there too.
Decoding started working. 2 months ago I would be asking this forum. At least I'm learning something!
....most of 'us' aren't programmers. a changelog and directory structure listing would be a plus.
....i saw hash mode 25. don't really know what it is, but updates are usually a good thing to do. correct? -
In the oscam.server file one points to where these ought to be or rather where OSCam will be searching for them...
This is how I (partially) edited my files, published here, as well - OSCam Emu for PurE2:
