Thought I would give OpenATV 7.5.1 a go but went back to 7.4

issue was with the labels of the Bouquets: All Channels, Entertainment etc as per image:

which brings it back and also adds in the updated EPG buttons, press blue for +24 etc

but doesn't seem to work anymore

was wondering if there would be any chance to having the labels back, or would that cause too much issues?

where is that nifty feature that's lets me comment out on skin.xml SLYK 1080 r19 for Vix? I cant find it?? The softcams are crunched up.

oops this what happens when you are ... old and get distracted. I am updating a box that uses softcams and the slyk 1080 R19 skin is preferred but when using softcam manager the screen is crushed and looks a bit off. This has occurred before and I usually found the solution on this thread. It involves amending the skin.xml file and all I did was cut and paste the solution. From memory its called " commenting out " but the bit where the entry was has been removed. And I cant remember what to do. I know the new version of the skin overcomes this but the new version is not on downloads and I tried installing it over the old version and failed. I was using telnet and now it says ver 2.3.0 installed but its not shown up. I removed all the known bits including the old version. I downloded the version on feeds and it loaded but as mentioned get the crushed screen.

Hope this makes sense.

And for future how do I ensure the new version will install or will it be on feeds soon?

ftp the file to /tmp folder then install from the vix menu

As already said I tried to install the new version over the old and it failed. I then removed the old version and tried to install the new version but it says already installed, however I cant find it. So when i try to install again I get message already installed.

No worries I amended the skin.xml from memory and fixed the crunched screen. User is happy.
