    OK, my old clone, Ferrari500HD, now with a more capable Japhar SIM card, has been updated, in terms of PurE2 itself (MENU > pManager > SW Manager > Check for update).


    Then, get YIFY-FNC torrent streaming plugin by Franc, from Plugins > green button > Extensions, restart and set it up properly.


    It is working FULLY, even though it only has a few MB of RAM free. Mind, I created 1/2GB SWAP file!


    My F500HD is running via OpenMultiBoot plugin, so it is all running from a fast USB stick!

    The same as in F500HD, with PurE2, which has a great Device Manager and SWAP Manager as well....

    Frankly, at this moment, there is no sense to push for a 6.3 800se/500hd build. Sometimes, especially for older boxes, a bigger number does not equal more joy.
    For those who do not like 'flodder' as suggested after fresh install, i.e. might prefer openmultiboot or whatver, please use --> enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-swapmanager2.
    Then again, the last time I have checked, it was not really needed even for more demanding plugins like yify, olm, lookseries, etc. But, it cannot hurt, especially on a reasonably fast USB stick or eSATA stuff (a bit exotic in a case of the original 500HD).

    When so say to use --> enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-swapmanager2., do you mean we also can use it with flodder too?

    I just use flodder with i clean install 6.2 and then install the rest staff. Is it ok?

    I would like to test the image on my receiver (DM800 SE with a8p).

    But my receiver has triple tuner and built-in wireless card and I wouldn't want them to work.

    Dunno, cable it up and try to install the image, then install the drivers from the feeds (Plugins > green button > Drivers)...

    If OpenMultiBoot doesn't work, then try this one: MultiMiniBoot!!!


    It will work in clones as well - and it can even patch original images, apparently!!!

    I just installed it in my ex-F500HD, now Japhar SIM 500 HD - first in the flash, where I only installed OpenMultiBoot (OMB) and then I installed it all over again but using OpenMultiBoot ==> onto a USB stick aaaaannnndddd... fun and games, heeeyyy.... :)


    Now, having expanded ROM/flash, we only need to expand RAM using SWAP Manager 2 from PurE2 feeds, create a permanenet SWAP file on USB stick (or HDD, as you please) and away it goes... oldie but goldie!!! :)

    Black Hole and Black Pole (both v. 6) have issues installing (copying kernel or creating a folder etc.), sadly...

    But I think eSata was usable with USB stick... But I may be wrong on this one, it was long ago that I used it...

    Long ago peeps used to sell USB port - but internal little motherboard to improve the original DM500HD...


    Not sure, it was long ago but it may be possible still - in Germany at least...?
