  • Nice find frankviana

So really what you need is a C band, blind scan plugin, with the changes you have done applied.

Yes... A friend help me to do this "modification", lol

And works like my vuzero4k... only difference is wrong frequency , but according my post from satellites.co.uk, see "true" frequency:

    14900 - (transponder Ku) =====> (transponder C band.)

Motorized 5m - C band(20ºE - 116.8ºW), Motorized 1,80m - KU band

  • And works like my vuzero4k...

So the VUzero has no problems on C band ?

You only need the "modification" for the Zgemma ?

Yes... Zero and zero4k (same tuner si2166d) working fine C band

Ony Zgemma devices (I have 9s and 9 twin) need this way to find channels using Blindscan "C band"... need fix driver and dmm plugin

But no solution until today: https://github.com/zgemma-star/meta-zgemma/issues/85

Okay so from the github report, it would appear there is not going to be anything done by Airdigital (or the chip manufacturer )

Normally when that is the case, the plugin itself it modified for it to work.

Looking at the code ( i am not a coder) there is already some mods for 2 VU boxes.

Something will also be needed for the zgemma and C band

Could anything be done here guys ?

Just read the last 5 posts from this thread for details, You have both committed to the plugin on OE alliance in the past ??

  • I think blinscan performance has to be improved by Air Digital with a driver update.

  • But no answer. I did a lot of tests, including "issue" on github. I tried OpenSpa too (I see more blindscan options comparing other images), but only Ku band.

it seems that by the way there is no interest from the manufacturer (zgemma) in implementing the blind search in band c. giving up on this brand, which promised up to android (dual boot) on the H9 twin model and until today nothing too.
