Changed the title of the thread from “FreeServer Enigma2 Plugin by Mino60 - v_ 8.0.0 Python 3 as at 03/03/2022” to “FreeServer Enigma2 Plugin by Mino60 - v_ 8.0.0 Python 3”. -

No, the Problem is the wrong plugin Path in the .ipk
the install Path points to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugin/extensions/FreeServer , this is wrong.
It should be /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/FreeServer instead, adding s to Plugin and Capital Letter at Extensions.
It would be nice to offer a reworked new .ipk file, thx in Advance.

And it has been stated already that all the folders/files can be manually moved to the correct path as a workaround in the mean time. I presume this would work.

There is always the script FreeServer.sh coded not in UTF-8 but in MacOs Roman.
I've been trying to let you know this issue since ages
Please fix it: Python3 does not digest well non UTF-8 files. -
Try this one
Even this installer does not create the plugin folder, at least under OBH 5.0.011
-
take 2
