Hey buddy, is this plugin compatible with Pure2 7.6?
I have been using it on Pure2 7.4 and now updated to 7.6 but cannot install the plugin you shared here.
Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure if it applies to E2piconizer but read X-Streamity - Xtream Codes IPTV Player
could be to do with dependencies.
don't know if you did something wrong ,but how did you try to install.
For me x-streamity is working fine on Pure2 7.6.
I tried installing the ipk from the first post by downloading it, placing it on a USB stick and plugged the USB into the box. I then navigated to the ipk file and selected it to install. It said 0 files were installed.
Is this not the correct way to install E2Piconizer?

I don't use pure but I did use that method years back. now I just copy file to hard drive and select ipk in file commander to install.
but from xstreamity thread:
QuoteHow to manually install .ipk on OE-Alliance images via telnet
To manually install, copy ipk to tmp folder
then telnet/ putty
opkg install /tmp/*.ipk
Managed to get it to install. Restarted the box and it installed as normal. Thanks
KiddaC, can E2Piconizer be scheduled, either from within the plugin or using cron? Thanks as always.
Why would you need that when you have to download picons manually (if using BMX)
Apologies - I should've provided context.
I've been able to automate most of what I care about on my OpenATV box. EPG is Epgimport and SlykEPG7Day, bouquets, channels names and numbering are python scripts parsing Sky Digital's API and KikgOfSat webpage.
Picons are the only thing that I'm not running on a schedule, but would like to.
I love e2piconizer, have used it for many years, so was wondering if / hoping it is possible.
My box would then, for me, be 100% self sufficient.
It is not possible as is... Can it be done... hmmm,
You could probably get AI, to write a script to do it. Then you wouldn't even need epiconizer.
Let me see what my chatgpt pro account says.
Its a bit faffy, leave it with me, and i will see what I can do.
hi kiddac i always use e2piconizer it keeps all my channel picons up to date and h a t e having a missing one but the program lately crashes my box

your log actually says the API call failed.
And as the api call failed, your list was empty that I was trying to process.
Are you based in the UK? Have you got a vpn turned on? If using a VPN the url call might be being blocked.
It might just have been the API was down when you ran it. Those links are working for me now.

This file will prevent that crash though.
