which set up, part 2?

  • i followed the ubuntu smargo tutorial but hit a stumbling block so decided to format and start again? the question is tho what set up or tutoril should i follow which is easiest to install and maintain. i am a complete novice and the simpler the better. a video tutorial would be excellent if available

  • hi ten i already started my install from Install Ubuntu Server 10.04 + Oscam + Smargo Reader. everything went well except for when i ran oscam i get this msg

    have i installed the software wrongly or is my smargo in the wrong usb port?

  • still no joy mrgmx. i found out that its device /dev/ttyUSB0 and put that line in my oscam.server file but i still got the error below. im not even sure if im looking for the smargo in the right usb port?

  • ok i need to install my oscam files over again. i originally did this via ssh following a tutorial but when i now try to do it via ftp i cant cos im not logged in as root

    any ideas?

  • gettin closer mate but it looks like my card is being read, but after a reboot it isnt reading that alpha numerial code below? whats my next step bud?
