    After the newest upgrade I noticed that server files have many new entries,though many=0

    Do I need them all ?

    Changed the title of the thread from “Oscam 11520 new user configs” to “Oscam 11520 new server configs”.

    I don't have this problem. Even in my oscam (OSCam: 1.20_svn Build: r11521 Compiler: mipsel-openpli40-linux-gnu). I tried to change some data in the internal reader (via Oscam Webif) and I saved the configuration and opened the file (via FTP, not through the built-in editor for files in Oscam Webif). No new items have been added to "oscam.server" except those I added myself to test.


    Try using another web browser. I don't know exactly how Oscam Webif configures, but apparently the form fields in your web browser contain blank spaces, and then Oscam Webif thinks there are some data and also stores these empty items (considered changed, but there are probably blank characters). I don't really know, but it could also be the cause of your problem. Try changing and saving your configuration in another web browser. I don't see any empty entries in the configuration files. So there are no empty entries like as the following:

    You could still check the file "oscam.conf" - the configuration entry "httpsavefullcfg" (under the "[webif]" configuration section). This is a setting to store all of the configuration items in a file - including empty and default / unchanged items.

    How is the softcam client set up ? Have you allowed or prevented also EMMs packets (ie AU) on the softcam client side ?


    If it is a CONAX card, it may be paired. Some CONAX cards require an RSA key.
