Latest is attached that works on all E2 images.
Add your own configs. Before you ask where, tell us the E2 image used.
Its openatv. It used to be usr/keys but ive been reading it may be etc/tuxbox/config
It used to be usr/keys
It still is /usr/keys on openatv.

Got it working but the files the ipk created were in /etc/tuxbox/config so i edited the oscam.server in there and its up and runnin
After a software update the softcam panel disappeared. I installed the new feed and new theres a new panel now but it seems unstable compared to before. I dont think openatv support emu cams now. Is that correct and if so do you have the noe emu version of the above cam?
Try with this plugin instead:
Updating to latest oscam-emu version is simple.
Download latest oscam-emu from here ~ arm_dm900-solo4k
It comes as a tar.gz file, so the oscam binary must be extracted from inside. Use a tool like 7-zip for this job.
FTP oscam to /usr/bin/cam
Change attributes/permissions to 755
Reboot
Start alternative softcam manager from plugins menu.
Latest oscam should be available in the menu.

Thats what i needed thanks
The cccam on there is 2.3.2. I can only find the ipk for 2.3.8 which doesnt work now. Do you have the cam that i can use with the manager also
If it was available it would be here ~ CCcam but i don`t see it..
Yeah just the ipks there.
Yeah just the ipks there.
An ipk can be unpacked with 7-zip. Extract what you need from the version you have for arm architecture.

ive extracted the files and ive found cccam2.38.emu in the openatv folder but it doesnt load when i copy it over. Not sure if ive missed something. Ive also changed the permissions to 755
cccam2.38.emu is a script, not the oscam binary. Look in /usr/bin for oscam..
Ive found this but it still doesnt load with 755 permissions. Not to worry ill use oscam/mgcamd for now
Thanks master G for the alternative softcam manager. I have an Octagon SF8008 with openatv wooshbuild. I have downloaded the ipk but do not have /usr/bin/cam folder, only /user/bin.
Where should I put the softcam manager.ipk?
Also, you say "change attributes to 755", I am very new to all this and not sure how or where i should do it.
Could you please explain very simply what to do.
Thanks again

You`re getting ahead of yourself mate.
Install the alternative softcam manager .ipk first ~ How to install an ipk on any enigma2 receiver
Then follow the rest of the guide, only if you want to update oscam or any other softcam.
Many thanks master G, I will let you know how I get on.
master G, I have installed alternative softcam manager on my octagon sf8008, with open atv 6.3, and cccam 2.3.2 is working and decoding well.
However, oscam modern 1532 is active but not decoding.
I have downloaded and extracted oscam-svn11523-solo4k-webif-dvbapi-libusb-emu796-upx and gone to properties/ security /edit but cannot find out how to change permissions to 755.
Would you mind explaining it to me?
Thanks,
ferez
start your FTP tool
send the oscam to /usr/bin/cam
right click on the oscam while its on the receiver. you should see an option for changing attributes/permissions or file permissions.
here is a few screenshots of how it looks with filezilla
44964fc9d73bd89a6179012f.pngcb5fbb1d010bb7f44aaf37037.png
or do it in telnet with this command chmod 755 /usr/bin/cam/oscam-svn11523-solo4k-webif-dvbapi-libusb-emu796-upx
Many thanks master G for your instructions, it is really appreciated.
Everything is now running correctly.
