Very strange, because here with ATV 6.4 and the last softcam-feed-universal_4.5-r0_all.ipk , it works without problems.

try adding via terminal wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash
That's what I did.
However, when I do a "packet list update" it says "Getting softcam list..." but nothing is received and the list remains empty. Even on "Reload" numerous times.
But as I have already said. It is no big deal. I've already installed what I wanted manually.
Easy check if ATV secret feed live or down: ATV secret feed
007.4 :
Try this via shell:
opkg update
Then copy the console output here. We can check - if updating of the softcam feed was done or if something was wrong there.
Also check the "/etc/opkg" folder (for example via an FTP connection to your set-top box), where a source (file) for softcams should be added, containing the URL "updates.mynonpublic.com".
OpenATV 7.0
* opkg_download_backend: Failed to download http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/5.0/cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4/Packages.gz, wget returned 8.
https://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/ - planned added 5.0 ?
yes soon
We are working for the new ATV 7.0 SoftcamFeed, but for now we have other problems which are more important and don´t forget,ATV 7.0 is for now only for testing.
Do not use OpenATV 7.0 unless you are a developer or tester. This version is in testing (beta or alpha - I don't know). This version is NOT better, but on the contrary - buggy. It can contain many errors. It's trying to make some new features work.
Guys, if you are so eager to use a test version of the oATV firmware, even though I see no reason to do so, then install Oscam manually:
Tutorial : How to install softcam (OSCam/CCCam) manually, if you hate ipk packages
https://github.com/s3n0/e2scripts/blob/master/softcam
Use, for example, the Oscam binary file from the oPLi image (it should only depend on older Linux libraries) or use a binary file from @juli13 (You can also find them here on this discussion forum).
So you actually use the installation manually - like adding an "init.d" trigger shell-script and a binary Oscam file.
I'm not sure what all this hassle will lead to any good results.
Patience pays off. So, why don't these members wait for a ripe product to be published.
It is all buggy at the moment
OMG, guys, let's not talk here about what a beta or alpha test version is in software development. Developers know what that means, and laymen don't even have to know it.
This discussion thread is used to install / extend feed sources with SoftCAMs, for OpenATV (one of the many distributions of the original Enigma2 from Dreambox, based on the latest free core OE2.0).
Forum moderators should clean it up.
If you have trouble installing the feed extension, you can use the manual Oscam installation procedure. As I always say ... that the best and safest way is to install Oscam manually.
agreed, thread cleaned up, lets keep this thread about openATV softcam feed please
Clearly ATV 7 is not meant for public use yet, if you know how to work around problems and report issues with logs to the ATV devs then you dont need help with a softcam feed....... otherwise stick with the stable versions.
I found this file.. they say it works perfectly with the new openATV 7.0.
truth or lie.. 29b394.gif :)
With ATV 7.0 the last Softcam Feed ipk's work's all, we have change it in the Git, so we don't must have a new Softcam Feed.

Hi.
The scope of the shell script intended for installing an additional softcams feed is the same as on the creator's website.
So it's exactly the same as using this: wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash (command-line / linux shell)
This installation script is also completely identical to the installation script, which is also found in the "softcam-feed-universal_4.5-r0_all.ipk" package.
So, the "OpenATV_softcam_feed_v8.0.ipk" installation package file is unnecessary.
je l'ai essayé mais il a rencontré en erreur mon décodeur zgemma h 9 s 4 k
:taxman: :Translate:
I tried it but it encountered my zgemma h9s 4k decoder in error
I have Openatv 6.3 on my octagon SF8008. I installed the universal feed through telnet via the command
wget -O - -q http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed | bash
The cam feed didn't show up in downloadable plugins, even after so many restarts. Then I tried some IPK files, all gave the same message that the installed feed matched the one that I was trying to install. I don't know how to make the cam feed show in the downloadable plugin list.
Help is greatly appreciated!
