The installation and clean up image decoder does not hurt to flash?

Ok i understand, i am also a solo owner & would say i reflash alot more than the average user for the purpose of testing & making backups and have never had a problem. Have you damaged the flash or just being cautious to try a new image ?

I really would not worry about it. I have flashed my own Vu receivers many many hundreds of times often as many as 20 times per week for the past year.
