  • Hello

    I have a Dreambox 520 with a Pure2 6.3 image

    I have tried many things but nothing seems to work, can someone point me out to the right Oscam to use?

    Also if someone can let me know the content i should put in the oscam.config and oscam.user files will be great.

    As for the oscam.server file I'm using cccam2oscam to convert 4 clines to the proper [reader] format so that i thing is the only part that i'm doing right.

    Currently I have used oscam-emu r11546-798 downloaded from the PureCamd Manager - blue button install

    I will appreciate some help please...

    Thanks.

  • Hi.

    Please enter the LiveLOG (debug log) records from Oscam-Webif first. Maybe there will be an error recorded. Or please specify exactly what does not work! Because I have no idea what it means "doesn't work".

    You can also find the configuration directory in Oscam-Webif:

    http://ip_addr_of_your_box:8888

    ...or try also very often used port 83:

    http://ip_addr_of_your_box:83

    And then go to:

    Files -> oscam.version -> search line "ConfigDir"

    If you prefer the command-line (Shell):

    wget -O - -q "http://127.0.0.1:8888/files.html?file=oscam.version" | grep "ConfigDir"

    ...or if you have set a password:

    wget -O - -q "http://loginname:password@127.0.0.1:8888/files.html?file=oscam.version" | grep "ConfigDir"

    Try it if you also want a manual procedure from here (you'll be sure where the error is if something doesn't work):

    Tutorial : How to install softcam (OSCam/CCCam) manually, if you hate ipk packages

    If you have problems, write again.

    However, I think the PureE2 image has a well-functioning softcam. There should be no problems.

  • Hello s3n0

    Thanks for your help...

    When i say nothing works it means that the channels do not work :)

    I have converted cline to oscam using the software shared on this forum.

    Everything is according to the steps and directions followed here but still i can't manage to see the channels :)

  • Hello.

    In your attached LOG, unfortunately I see no attempt to decode channels or any attempt to process EMM / ECM packets by Oscam.

    Probably there is some problem between:

    card reader <-> SoftwareCAM (OSCam) <-> conditional access card from your provider

    Where do your oscam configs come from ? :) Are they sure ? Are they downloaded from the Internet ? Has anyone recommended them ? Maybe there is a mistake in them somewhere. The configuration is based on the "oscam.server" file, "oscam.conf". Alternatively, the "oscam.user" and "oscam.dvbapi" files are also necessary in some cases. Why didn't you mention them ? Do you even include them in your Oscam configuration ?

  • Hello

    In /etc/tuxbox/config i have the following files:

    oscam.config with this on it:

    [webif]

    httpport = 8888

    httpuser = root

    httppwd = root

    httprefresh = 10

    httpallowed = 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255

    httpreadonly = 1

    httphelplang = en

    oscam.user with this info:

    # oscam.user generated automatically by Streamboard OSCAM 1.20_svn SVN r11546-798

    # Read more: http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/…on/doc/txt/oscam.user.txt

    [account]

    user = clines user

    pwd = clines password

    group = 1

    oscam.server with this readers transformed from clines (4)

    [reader]

    label = saturn1.nodns.me

    protocol = cccam

    device = saturn1.nodns.me,64321

    user = cline user

    password = cline password

    group = 1

    cccmaxhops = 3

    ccckeepalive = 1

    [reader]

    label = saturn2.nodns.me

    protocol = cccam

    device = saturn2.nodns.me,64321

    user = cline user

    password = cline password

    group = 1

    cccmaxhops = 3

    ccckeepalive = 1

    [reader]

    label = saturn3.nodns.me

    protocol = cccam

    device = saturn3.nodns.me,64321

    user = cline user

    password = cline password

    group = 1

    cccmaxhops = 3

    ccckeepalive = 1

    [reader]

    label = saturn4.nodns.me

    protocol = cccam

    device = saturn4.nodns.me,64321

    user = cline user

    password = cline password

    group = 1

    cccmaxhops = 3

    ccckeepalive = 1

    clines are pay premium service and when i switch to another box (non linux) clines and channels work 100%

  • First, you try to re-share from a foreign server, and second, you don't even have your own decoder card in the internet reader. Unfortunately, in this case, I can't advise you. You would need to have access to the primary softcam server that shares the cards. You would have to see its complete configuration as well as any problems in its LOG records. Then a problem could be solved.

    Contact the administrator of the softcam server for advice on the problem, as it may find an error very quickly.

  • You would first have to write down what doesn't work.

    There is nothing in LiveLOG that you provided. I don't see received EMMs and ECMs in your oscam LOG, but I repeat what I wrote above. Your Oscam (as a client) does not receive any requests - there is no activity. On what platform are you running it ? PC x86 Windows ? or ARM / MIPSEL at Linux set-top-box ? If it is an Oscam used in client mode and you also have a satellite tuner on it, then you should try to enable the dvbapi server/client as follows:

    - add to "oscam.conf":

    Code
    [dvbapi]
    enabled     = 1
    au          = 1
    user        = internal_user

    - add to "oscam.user":

    Code
    [account]
    user        = internal_user
    pwd         =
    group       = 1
  • Now it works!

    I have added the above code into the respective files and now all the channels are open and working!

    Thanks a lot for your great help and the explanations of how things work in such a clear way.

    Thank you! :)
