Cable epg

Hi can someone help me. i am using the virmin tv highlights channel to populate my epg. but i am now only getting one days worth from this channel, has something changed to stop it obtaining 5 days or do i jeed to scan off another channel. i have also tried pvr_epg channel but this does nothing. help would be much appreciated as its driving me mad. i have also used a number of different images all with the same result
