What about if you select cable- providers
Do you get a choice of your 2 providers ?
In tuners configuration I can select different cable-providers but
Romanian Cable Providers are not in the list.

i just looked at the cable.xml @ etc / enigma2 and neither of your providers are there either.
This is going to take a lot of work.... i cant even remember how to produce that file now, i will have to look in my old files and see if i can come across so more information.....
I can complete this cable.xml with data (freq. etc) from my Providers. But what is the difference if I do that?
Just do it, m8 - and post it here, maybe some people will know how to... ;)
If not, I shall talk to the coders... :)

have a look at the file, there is some links in there on how the file should be.
That then should assign the channels to there correct providers.
Then you should be able to select the correct channel.
IMO your having an issue because both channel names are the same, and the box dose not realise they are in fact from different providers.
I guess you could check my theory by renaming the channels differently and testing ? But IMO the best way to do it is with the cable.xml
Ok. I will do it today. Now it is 00:15 hour here. But today I will post cable.xml containing Digi and Orange Romania. By the way: I selected another cable provider from Austria just to try. i scanned tuner C, received several chanels but no difference. It doesnt switch to tuner C

I will try but take in consideration that I choose the same channel as example. There are different channels that are only on one provider and doesnt work at all. No channel from tuner C are running . They are running if I choose preferrete tuner C, but in this case no channel from tuner B are running.
Enigma2 treats all Cable services as the same. It won't know that you have one provider on one tuner and another on a different tuner. It can't know, it is just the way it is. Same applies to Terrestrial.
Your best bet is to use two different receivers and use remote Channel Stream Converter
The thread on PLi has posts by Peterjo and is in Dutch, I couldn't find it. Sorry

It is what I use right now. But ....what good for 2xDVB-C?
LE: I have 5 receivers working now in the house: 3 X DM800HD Se, 1 x Zgemma H7S, 1 x Zgemma H7C. :)
I don't understand your post.
2xDVB/C you can watch one channel and record any other channel from the same provider.
Your lucky to have 2 providers !!

I have 2 Cable Providers and 1 satellite dish.
Here, in office room i have 2 receivers

If you pay you can have all providers. Yes, I am lucky because I have on my building apartment all providers.
@gorski: this is a big issue. I don't know who make enigma2. I can see that are different teams making different images. Who can solve this issue?
IMO favorites (bouquet) contains shortcuts to channel from Cable-Services or Satellites. If a channel doesn't work from Cable-Services for sure it wont works from favorites.
Cable-services should be splited in 2 if the receiver has 2 tuners. Cable-services 1 and Cable-services 2, one for each tuner. Then you can make your favorites lists.

I added (at the end of the file) Digi Cablu și Orange Cablu, Bucharest, Romania providers config.
Still ill on holidays... :(
I shall talk to Zgemma guys and we'll seee...
But for now, remember Abu's words and don't expect anything and if it happens... ;)
No problem. Happy holiday.
I hope you'll be better soon.
As an example, if you had two dishes pointing to 19.2, one of which did not get vertical transmission and another that did not get horizontal ones. You connect both these to two tuners and configure as 19.2. Enigma2 knows both have 19.2 and will assume both are identical.
This is how E2 treats it. It is a big task to change everything. So I would not expect any fixes.
I just re-read the thread and you mentioned both providers operate on different frequencies with no overlap. Can you try combining the cables, use a splitter in reverse, and connect to one tuner. Disable the other tuner for time being. This should work as the tuner will have access to all frequencies.
Yeah, I thought of that as a first solution but he probably wants to record/view different channels from different providers sometimes, so I didn't mention it... I mean, it would not be a proper solution - there is still a problem with 2 DVB-C tuners not working together, like 2 DVB-S2 can...
But if there is no hero to delve into the guts of the E2 beast, then realistically it is what he can do....
