No storage devices found on octagon SF8008 with Openatv

I can't get my sf8008 to recognize any usb stick or sd card. I had neoboot installed and it crashed. Since then, I get the no storage devices found msg when I try to initialize a usb. If I leave a usb in the unit when rebooting, the unit won't fully boot. It will boot to 100%, but it loops. If I pull the usb stick out, it will come out of the loop. I can format the usb ext3 via telnet and it shows up, but does not show up in the box hard disk menu. If I edit the etc/fstab or the usr/lib/enigma2/python/screens/harddrivesetup.py file back to original state, would that do the trick?

That is what I thought. I bought a new thumb drive, but same deal. The drives

work for e2istream, as I use its path /media/hdd/ for download & buffering.

that's probably why he crashed.

it was mounted as /media/sdc/ and not media/hdd or media/usb. I screwed up. The unit works perfect, except my usb ports don't show in the.menus or neoboot. I can only mount my usb hdds thru telnet.

I was using openatv 6.3. I don't think that I configured neoboot properly, and that caused the problem. I just reflashed it, and the problem is gone.
