.deb appended to downloads

Hi All,

Recently something changed for me and now every time I download an ipk it comes down with .deb appended at the end of it, so plug-in.ipk becomes plug-in.ipk.deb. It is only this site that gives me the issue. I am downloading on an iPad Pro 12.9 v2 running iOS 13.3. I then have to rename it each time as not recognised by my vu+ Solo 4K box running openatv 6.4.

Is there a setting somewhere that changed recently as it never used to be like this.
Thanks in advance for any help, not major but annoying.

what file on the forum you trying to download.

Are you using safari or chrome. Safari always does weird things.

tbe i just tested all file types and they are downloading as they were.

Thanks for the responses, I am using the built in Safari, I will try Chrome and see what happens

looks like Safari has changed as Chrome does not have the same issue. Thanks kiddac and master G
