  • OK, from tromo/delfi:

"In a few hours all the images from 18-19-20/6/2020 will be updated with fixed wifi stuff.

Once the feed are updated, one can avoid reflash via telnet:

    root@osmio4k:~# opkg remove --force-depends python-wifi

    Removing python-wifi (0.8.0) from root...

    root@osmio4k:~# opkg install python-wifi

    Installing python-wifi (0.6.1) on root.

    Downloading http://pur-e2.....ipk.

    Configuring python-wifi.

Sorry to all on the all the trouble! Sometimes we screw things" :)

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-incurred immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another. This immaturity is self-incurred if its cause is not lack of understanding, but lack of resolution and courage to use it without the guidance of another. • gorski, I have set up my Zgemma 7C with the three tuners set to A-Sat, B-Cable, C-Terrestrial (in view of the likely loss of cable at the end of the month) and scanned all three successfully. However when I try to select a terrestrial channel, Pure2, OpenSpa and ATV all refuse to select tuner C and lock into tuner B. Pli and Vix images work fine with all the same settings. Is there something missing in the Pure2 image or is there a hidden setting available somewhere?

  • I haven't tried it out like that, sorry - wouldn't know... I have 2 sat tuners and 1 terrestrial and all is well, as I set it up...

You do have the "preferred tuner" somewhere in Setup Settings, yeah - but not sure if applicable here...

Have you made your Favs and are you absolutely sure which channels you are selecting?

I can't remember - done a search online and this forum re. your problem? Try it...

Does Estuary have a built-in on-screen/virtual keyboard? If not, how can I integrate a virtual keyboard with Estuary?

M8, I don't understand: why do you not try it and then report back? You can't break anything by pressing a few buttons, you know...

    For instance: MENU > PurE2 Plugins > Streamlord-FNC > MENU > Username > OK > what do you see?

  • That's what I did, gorski. I picked up the weather plugin to test the keyboard, only traditional RC keyboard. Then I installed a Virtual Keyboard, I couldn't get the virtual keyboard to work inside the weather plugin but it worked inside another plugin which I don't remember right now, maybe Subsupport.

I ask after my trials fail. I even google sites other than this forum. I have read most of your articles of Pur2E about general setup, oscam, mounting devices, FNC plugins, ...etc

    Why do you assume I don't search and/or I don't try?

  • Jimdefruit , they work when you disable them?

    Octa8on => in PurE2 > MENU > Plugins > Estuary Config > Weather Plugin > OK > MENU > Edit and there you are...

Btw, the same thing happens when you go to Plugins > Weather plugin > MENU > Edit...

  • Why complicate it and load with even more needless stuff, guys?

  • Not without a WiFi keyboard that works with the STB...

  • You do realise, guys, that there is more pressing of the buttons needed, that it lasts longer than the built-in one, if you use your RCU?

If you find a WiFi keyboard that works with your STB maybe it's better but otherwise I can't see the benefit...

Anyone with any details why this would be "better"?

  • Thanx, Jens!

I just read through the thread and it seems it is yet another complication on top of all the other complications.... Probably not for me... ;)

  • Traditional keyboard is very congested and difficult to read. For example, Button "0" has around 18 characters. Suppose I want to ^ for some reason, then I have to press that button 17 times.

I fully agree that wifi keyboard is the best solution when it comes to typing speed but I don't have one.
