New PurE2 v. 6.5 to test - your feedback, please...

PurE2 can't support DMM on a complete base, only in blind mode, as a team does not have DMM support.

In this case, it's hard to say where the problem is and we can't help too much.

Sadly, we must say "use it as it is" or try with another image.

ok, where is no kodi bin to dl, i will try to manulal install it from other riciver & give it a try

Hello everyone, a thank you passing on to the Pure2 team, their 6.5 image is running great, with all the plugins, Streamlink, Kodi 18, E2Iplayer etc....keep doing python2, you're right, it's super powerful ..... on the other hand you changed the background image or I missed something .....

Good luck to the pure2 team.....personally, I made my own unpretentious logo.....

i am not shure for live streaming but there was in last time a lot Of Updates incl. for gst streamer . please try to set up fresh with an new Image (flash on the fly ) you can store your setting and set them new up ... Please no online Update this will not work without problems !!! Use in service App GST streamer !

Hello, i just tested last image on my Dreambox Two. GUI very impressive, settings overdosed, i can switch off egp grabbing from transponders, so everything's looks fine.

I just installed my favorite skin HD glass, and my favorite EPG grabber, epgimport plugin, try to set all, upload my channel list, and then reboot the box, and looks like works good.

But unfortunately i can't download anyting through hdglass skin, because said my flash is full (it has internal 16GB EMMC and 4GB flash) so someting's wrong, finally i began watch tv without picons and additional files, but after 6 hours my box self- rebooted, and i got flashing red light.

Today i succesfully bing it back to live with service usb- serial cable, putty, and a rescue image, after i upload a backup, box updated cpu code, so if you can develop it in the future, will be good, all others use conventional simply settings, weak plungin compatibility, so this image is the first after 1.5 years, i want to use forever.

At this point this image destroy dreambox two boxes.

The HD channels, e.g. ARD HD or ZDF HD all have problems, falters, picture errors, sound errors as a result... no clean TV, watch other private channels RTL, Kabel 1, etc. everything runs without errors.

Anyone an idea?

I have Amiko Viper 4kv30 with PurE2 20221016. I use nfr4xboot for multiboot from usb-flash, device contains original firmware OpenATV (I don't use it) and PurE2 image is on usb-flash, and I'm using PurE2 on this device for several months. Here are problems:

1. Device randomly boots from deep-standby. Attached "deep-standby.zip" contains 2 log-files, first log-file is when I sent device to deep-standby, second log-file is when device almost immidiately rebooted without known cause.

2. Device has random audio pauses on some channels and it seems that this happens on AAC sound (no problem on mpeg2 or ac3), this can last up to 15 seconds. When satellite-receiver streams to android or xubuntu device through wifi than there are no problems with audio, problems are there only when satellite-receiver sends audio to tv through hdmi. Attached "audio-pauses.zip" contains log for several minutes of such behaviour.

3. EPG font for farsi-persian is about 50% smaller than for latin. Do they have same font-size or maybe font is so different that they need to have separate font-sizes?

First, we can't see anything strange in your debug logs.

Sadly we do not own Amiko Viper 4kv30 to see what is the real problem in the realtime, so everything which is connected with this box are made in blind mode.

But in blind we cannot fix such issue, especially if there are no strange things in the debug log.

Hi,

I have another problem which seems like bug. "Menu / Setup / System / Video settings / Refresh rate" has three modes:

- multi - works (auto recognizes refresh rate and changes accordingly)

- 60Hz - works (sets 60Hz)

- 50Hz - doesn't work because it sets 60Hz instead of 50Hz

About epg-farsi, can this be resolved?
