have my friends dm800hd here and trying to flash a new image on it but its went t**s up. no idea what image was on before but box was working fine, opened box up and its just a plain white sim with no writing on it
when trying to flash using my null cable with usb converter it finds the box and its patched dreamup im using it comes up no ca found by second stage loader
have tried everything i can think of and a few peoples suggestions but cant get it working if someone could help me out:feel_good:

Put the DM800 into flash mode.
Power down the Dreambox, either using "shutdown" and by removing the power connector. Standby is not enough!
Press and hold the power button. Replug the power connector into the Dreambox.
A text "*** STOP ***" should appear. Now you can release the button.
The sim version and bootloader will be visable on the front panel. ( Example sim 2.01 bl 76 )

the error comes on the box as soon as it starts mate cant get it in stop mode?

If you can telnet to the dreambox try this HERE- How to find out your DM800 Bootloader. If we can find out the bootloader we can figure out which sim you have.
Can you remember which image you were using before you had these problems ?

on the repair tool its asking for ssl versions under sim 2.01

i have run the repair tool and have chosen sim2.01 ssl82 and run the program and it runs and finishes now i close the program and my dm800 is sitting in serial mode but the ip that its showing i cant put in internet explorer as it dosent work??

how can i change bootloader from #59 to something else and confirm that its on the box?

and tried another image and im back to square 1 grrrrr
