  • Hello

    this might be a newbie question but I own a Vu+ solo 4K and I am wondering what is the setup to use connecting 8 satellites via Diseqc in one tuner. The settings are quiet confusing for this part. I am using open BH image.

    Would appreciate a step by step and simple explanation please,

    Thanks

  • Hi

    You must give the number of the DiSEqC written on your switch 8 in 1.

    It's DiSEqC 1.0DiSEqC 1.1 or DiSEqC 1.2 ...

    So we can help you.

    For exemple with ref DiSEqc 1.1 I have this configuration for enigma 2

    Configuration Mode = advanced

    Satellite = Hotbird 13E (Change satellite name here)*

    Voltage mode = Polarization

    Tone mode = Band

    LNB = LNB 8 (Change LNBs 1-8)*

    DiSEqC mode = 1.1

    Toneburst = None

    Committed DiSEqC command = none

    Fast DiSEqC = no

    Sequence repeat = Yes

    Command order = uncommitted, committed, toneburst

    Uncommitted DiSEqC command = Input 8 *

    (Change LNB input here 1-8)

    DiSEqC repeats = none

    LOF = Universal LNB

    Increased voltage = yes (for long cables)

    Polarity = Auto

    Tone Amplitude = 800mV

    *change this only

    Vu+ Zero & MxQpro 4K

  • Hi... Thanks for the reply..

    It's 1.1

    few questions here..

    Satellite = Hotbird 13E (Change satellite name here)*

    Why satellite is hotbird ? If it's 8 connected so why Hotbird is written in specific ? if 8 are connected what's the reference of the satellite to be written here ?

    I don't have to change these two lines if 8 satellites are connected ... right ?

    LNB = LNB 8 (Change LNBs 1-8)*

    Uncommitted DiSEqC command = Input 8 *

    Thanks
