You need to upgrade your box to Japhar sim if you want to use the OpenPLi 7.2star.

OpenATV is a very heavy image and only english and german language...

Yes you can.

When upgrading a sim with the current sim in in your case the a8p flash a japher sim image but do not reboot the box when the flash is complete. Kill the power at the plug then swap to the japhar sim then power on.

Sure yes, sim are swappable, as you would do in your smartphone when you change operator. You can change always from one to another.

Now I cannot enter to filezilla client anymore. I put openpli 4 in the Dm800. Filezilla client worked fine. But now, I cannot enter to the DM800 anymore using Filezilla. It seems that it is a problem of username or password. For your information, I always use root/dreambox / port 21 to log in it. Any idea to help pls?

With which image ? Did your box changed IP ?

Generally there is root and no password, always better to be in ftp and telnet mides, as generally ssh doesnt allow no password.

I have also DM800 se ( original ) with A8P SIM card. You don't to flash again image. Login is always root / dreambox except for

OpenATV or Pure2 image. My suggestion of software for ftp client is Total Commander ( I use it personally ).

This tool you will find in Enigma2 Tools thread. Latest version is 9.50 .

Just use standard opensource software, Putty for console, for file transfer use WinSCP.

All other software is closed source and would surely more bugs (DCC is very buggy).
