Some routers seems to have the ability to just port tcp or udp not both at the same time if so
just do 2 forwardings one with tcp the other with udp , that should solve it. -
cheers mate
but when i opened the port in port forwarding there was not a protocol option to select either.
do i have to select this or should the use defined cover it,
thanks -
ps its zyxel router

What model of zyxel router M8? eg Prestige681 or X-550??
-
its zyxel P-660HW-T1v3
-
Follow this guide here M8 but instead use your port number and dm800hd IP Address.
eg. Start port 11211, End Port 11211, IP Address 192.168.1.xxxPort Forwarding pcAnywhere on the ZyXEL Prestige660HW-T1 - PortForward.com
Save these settings and restart the router (Necessary with some older routers)
I am not certain, (if I'm wrong someont will correct me) but I think forwarding on TCP alone will do for cccam? What exactly are you forwarding for? Is it to use ur DM800hd as a server for cccam?

I see that Eircom put custom Firmware on these routers.. Are you with Eircom?
http://screenshots.portforward…ircom/Port_Forwarding.jpg
If so, here are a few steps to try..
Firstly, set up a Static IP address for your DM800hd eg. 192.168.1.40
http://screenshots.portforward…ircom/LAN_Client_List.jpg
From this screen, reserve 192.168.1.40 for your DM800hd. You can get the MAC Address from within the router settings.. Just look for LAN somewhere in your settings, then look for connected devices under DHCP Server.. There you will find your Mac address (If its connected to your network) copy and paste from there to the Mac address in screenshot above. You now have static address for your DM800hd..Now go to Portforwarding section as shown below.
http://screenshots.portforward…ircom/Port_Forwarding.jpgEnter your DM800hd new static IP Address as the server address, click add. Now change the start port & end port to the port number you want to use.
That should be it M8

cheers guysIf your box can connect to the outside world & you have no network conflicts then you have nothing to worry about there mate.

ok, forget mac ip,,,,,,,,,,,,, eircom ip is 192.168.1.254 , then click network, then click on Nat, then portforwarding, click service name, stroll to bottom =user defined, setup ur name for server, ports that u using and ip of server box or pc. click apply.... thats it setup in 2 mins max.

cheers
got the mac adress from telnet, then enter ifconfig
thanks guys -
Nice one mate.. I’m glad your sorted. As Ten said above, reserving IP address for the mac Address of your box was not 100% Necessary, but I find it handy when flashing new images and stuff, it just means you don’t have to set static IP Address every time you flash the box or turn on DHCP settings in the box because your router will automatically identify your box and assign your required IP address..

Brother I forward port in virtual server of DSL modem .but the problem is that when I type my host name in google it give a message me error in connection.
But if I type my box IP for example
192.168.10.----:8888 it take me to webcam interface

Kausar its normal protocol to use the ip address of the device while your inside your own internal network. DNS, dynamic hostname is for accessing outside your own network.
Check the port you assigned in the router is open @ https://canyouseeme.org/
Make sure your external ip address is synced with the DNS, dynamic hostname updater tool you are using.
-
Your ISP is not blocking port 8888
Yes already I made an account free dynamic IP account.but I can not access my host name.I don't know what is wrong?
-
free dynamic IP account
Check whatsmyip.org, then look in the free dynamic ip account to see if both ip addresses match. There should be an updater tool provided by this source. Download and run that to see if it helps.
