When I put the m3u file into media/hdd/movie, it only takes up 64 KB of the file.
There is not such a problem in the deb. version.
Thanks.

xc forever, has always used an obsolete system, now the servers have updated, perhaps not all.
The more you touch it, the more it breaks.
It would have to be rewritten from scratch. But it doesn't make sense, this is because my friend KiddaC made an X-Streamity plugin, which goes beyond xcforever. It is updated and also uses the new system.
Anyone who wants to use xc is free to do so, but I don't think it can be done beyond that, to adapt it to the PY3 system code had to be added, as if there wasn't enough inside.
To those who work, I recommend it, if it doesn't work, better use X-Streamity.
I really say this with conviction and respect for the great work that KiddaC is doing.
In fact, if I had more time I would also be his beta tester, but after 10 hours of work... I can barely stand...
A hug to everyone, and I attach it here for those who cannot update the latest update
i install this last up date but problem is still when open media/hdd/ movie then xc plugin crash it problem only on py3 not py2 images
send log crash to pm thanks
So just so I understand this correctly, XCForever Version "last" is for an EPG format like that?...

is that correct?
My question is primarily about how to import the EPG which my IPTV-provider already provides.
Since EPG creation does not work with Jedimaker Xtream although the xml link it puts in automatically is entirely correct. But it seems to be the wrong format for that.
Notably if I import it with the same link to Xstreamity, the...

Can someone or Lululla help me out? Which one should I use to make the EPG work?

IT WORKS! ....
...at least if I do not import the file via /media/hdd/movie/playlist.m3u to my bouquets... then it doesn't. But that's where I want my EPG.
So, If I now open the plugin, then go to the edited file one should edit as described in Lululla first post, then I have the full EPG instantly. How do I copy that now to the .tv favourites? There doesn't seem to be an option for that, but I am probably blind?

xcforever when doing the conversion (makebouqet) uses epgimport
so you will find the name of your list xxxx in the epgimport sources)

Can you fix the problem I wrote about in message no. 463?
Or can you provide a new version?

Good afternoon.
I am struggling to change server url on my VU+
I have changed it using etc>enigma2> hc and where ever I can find the xml of my box. But it never changes on the app.
Any ideas please. I have been trying for weeks now :-(
read post topic
Read the first post of the topic carefully
the file is in the path
/etc/enigma2/xc
then you can call it whatever you want
xc_pippo.xml
enter the data inside
But there are also other ways, you can also import a line from installed iptv or from a .txt file in /tmp
It's all at the beginning of the topic
Remember to select the file in the plugin playlists
Regards
Hi Lululla,
Thanks for your work and that nice plugin.
i think i got the problem with epg, cause the first entry in the epg of a channel lists always the channel name instead of the show name.
But with the last version 2.3, when i open the plugin menu it shows me the error: Extension/XCplugin (cannot import name ensure_str)
Can you help me with that? Do i need to install anothe rmodule?
Regards
I'll definitely check tonight
mmm
ensure_str from module six.. strange
..try reboot box
