Need help with ncam!

    Hi. I have a dreambox 800 hd se receiver. there are a lot of different ncam versions and i dont know which is the latest file for my receiver. patched 11.3 doesnt work. receiver freezes when im trying to install. i have tried and older version. it works but i have to restart the emu because its freezes every 3-4 minutes. now im desperate. why does it freeze every 4 minutes. what is the latest working version for my receiver please help. any links? thanks

    I have also DM800 SE , but oscam emu. I think is better to uninstall your ncam emu and install from feed in your image.

    After installing from feed overwrite patched 11.3 ipk version. Maybe something went wrong during installation.

    So , if I understood correctly your problem is with lines , and not with ncam emu ( if is installed well in image).

    Maybe your config with readers is not good. The latest version is v. 11.3 for all images. Correct me if I think wrong.

    im trying to install 11.3 but im getting collected error messages and the setuo freezes. maybe my box or image is not compatible with 11.3

    Your box is sure compatible for all emus , but I think your image is not if you have "lite" version newnigma image ( about 50 Mb).

    Can you explain what wrote in collected error message after your trying to install.

    thanks for your help. downloaded the latest version of ncam (11.3) for my box and copied it to the tmp folder of my dreambox and used the blue button the install the emu. but after a while im getting collected errors when the box tries to install the file and the setup freezes with this error message when its trying to configure the file.

    first error message: collected errors and then it freezes with the text configuring.

    In post #3 you wrote that it is not available on the feed. If something is not on the feed ( some python or in your case emu )

    it will be difficult or impossible to install in the image with various collected errors ( or is not compatible with image) or freezes

    as you wrote when you try to install older version of emu. Did you have any other emu for install in newnigma image.

    I had a long time before newnigma image, so I don't know how "looks" today.

    i have cccam and oscam but they are not working good. best choice was ncam. oscam and cccam freezes a lot. i think i have to change the image. which image should i try? which is the best? newnigma was very good but i think its an old image with no more updates just daily fixes etc

    It's hard to say which image is the best. I agree with you, you need to change image. My suggestion is Pure2 ( v.6.2 ) for DM800SE.

    You can also try as first Openvision which is suggested MBI . OpenATV is still "too heavy" ( almost 60 Mb ) for ours boxes.
