    Hello, dear hecha71.

    My family and friends all tell me that I am strong in spirit. They welcome me, seeking strength to overcome losses and uncertainties.

    My justification for "giving up" was that I didn't want to bother you all who were supporting me anymore.


    This website (DOMICA), I checked it. But what it does have are options for using Telnet. And I have no way to access Telnet, to be able to apply the commands indicated.


    My problem, is not being able to access the Box with an IP or by Browser. With this malfunction, the Box blocks when it wants to start.


    Please help me here:

    Language use like calling a less skilled person as "weak in spirit" is not something we like, but maybe it's a language issue??

    Anyway I have suggested it before when a users don't have the skills needed and you do. Why not reach out an helping hand over TeamViewer??


    It's so easy when you now what to do but it's also easy to forgot that we all started somewhere and with the help of others we sharpen our skills ;)

    this is not solution with teamview !you need in frame time same comand of your maschine and pc ! for jtag is too hard when you dont have hardware suport

    you misunderstood, I did not write that he has weak knowledge, but I meant that gave up and did not try to restore the receiver on my own, so I expressed that was weak in spirit, and gave up further attempts to solve the problem on my own.

    TeamViewer-I've never practiced this method and I'm not sure I can help him remotely

    TeamViewer is a remote desktop app working on all platforms. You take over the computer from the person in need

    and he or she can follow what you are doing. Also open and close programs if needed.

    There is a chat function allowing you to write instructions if the person you are helping need to physical do something

    like putting the stb in rescue mode, put an device into the computer or attach an cable.


    But basic you can do anything with the remote computer as if you where there :)

    first conect only usb port with out turning on too see if is works,

    checks in windows manager if is conected,ehat port com is asigned

    this port com must be used in putty serial mode

    and set speed value to 115200,and press open

    conect network cable ,turn on box and must see some activity

    and may get login,

    This is a hardware failure. You should return it to your dealer, or open a ticket on the dreambox.de website.

    Hi, do a test, turn on the decoder then without turning off the switch disconnect it from the plug, get ready with the modem with network connection inserted and access the DCC program, insert the plug without touching the decoder switch, once the DCC is open , name: rooot, password dreambox click on search and it will find the ip once found ip of the dreambox accept, and after that click on the remote control at the top right and enter resurce, at first I had this problem decoder switch, do this test, greetings

    Melgas, I had your problem at the beginning and I ascertained that the problem was the rear switch, so trying doesn't hurt, I repeat

    Hello lupogiallo.

    I did this experiment:

    I switch on the rear button, and unplug cable power.

    I tried the connection: USB PC and Mini-USB Service Port.

    So, I also did with DCC and DreamUP.

    All to no avail.

    I removed the Tuner, too.

    I just didn’t remove the display, because I didn’t want to force disconnect the plug, which is very fragile.

    I did and redid exhaustive tests and experiments. All to no avail.

    Now I'm going to send the Box to Germany.

    i try all solution with my dreambox and i flashed with serial!with serial cable you dont need ip adress,

    jtag is dificulty you need jtag arm programmer ,better find one person what now how is make

    with teamview i not qent help you ,becuse i need fisical touch ,sory
