Thanks for the continuous updates.

When making a search on VOD, starting a movie from the list and then stopping the movie, it does not show the same search list but the whole list.

Maybe would be better to show the search list (since the Blue button shows reset search after all)

If you use the new virtual keyboard plugin. It will store previous searches. Therefore making repeat searches quicker.

The search is just a subset of the main list. It all gets a bit fiddly remembering what list you are on. So on return to lists I reset it on purpose.

If you want to experiment yourself. In vod.py

your will find this function

just comment out that last line with a #

I only found vod.pyc though so cannot try it.

As KiddaC mentioned new virtual keyboard plugin remembers search history but I also think it does use google search engine so a lot of the time you may not even need to enter full name of film it will come up with suggestions.

Catchup amends again. Slightly different approach
Fixed recording stripping out accented characters
Reverted some code in the downloader, so should now work like it used to work.
I will update XKlass with the same amends soon. I seem to be in the middle of something with that plugin. So it will have to wait

I have a note based on my experience with DM520 device:

With DreamOS image, the plugin works smoothly, responds quickly, and I don't face any issues.

With OpenATV image, the plugin is very slow to respond, making it difficult to watch content or select subtitles.

But this is due to the Dreamboxes and the OATV.

For me it runs like clockwork on 4 boxes (without oatv).

Was searching for an iptv e2 plugin and found yours. Everything is working Ok. BUT "catchup tv" is blank... Live, vod, series works just fine. Live has epg. Everything is looking good, except catch up ((. I'm getting the list of channels (which have archive) but no programs to choose on the right pane.

On which side is the problem, my iptv provider (on android it's working without a glitch), my box image (OpenPLi 9 Nightly) or what?!

Hi KiddaC,

The imdb plugin does not like the country prefixes, for example "(DE -)". Can you remove this before passing the value to the imdb plugin?

On your live channels list. There is an api I search which says if it has tv-archive. (catchup)
The programme list is then got from the EPG. If that channel has no epg, I cannot determine what the catchup programmes are.

I not updated my imdb for a while. So just tried the latest plugin.py. Thats better
