    I understand that it would take some time to load the list but once loaded, (on scrolling ) the list size should not effect the movie info time.

    Ok but that is answer KiddaC can answer, but even on gigablue quad pro every provider can be different and even settings whether you use TMDB for vod and series.

    I am using v5.08. I have noticed that on VOD when scrolling through a folder with a long list the movie info takes a long time to load.

    It takes around 2-3s on short lists (up to 1000 movies) but goes up to 7s on long lists (20k movies) - Gigablu 4k

    on VU zero 4k it is even slower.

    The list is stored in memory. So the larger the lists the more memory used, the slower everything becomes.
    There is an option to turn off picons/cover art if your playlist is massive. But the image download is probably not what is slowing down the screen, but the sheer size of the list.
    If you haven't already, give your box more memory by creating a usb swapdisk and using cacheflush plugin running in the background.

    As Urie as half answered. This is a self contained IPTV player. It does not allow the creation of TV Bouquets (Folders).
    If you want to create a favourites list in this plugin. There are 2 options.
    1) You add to the players favourites list by pressing FAV, TV or STOP on your remote.
    2) You Show/Hide only the channels you want to see. Press MENU button on any of the lists to select what you want to SHOW/HIDE

    If you want to create Bouquets for your IPTV list, then my other plugin BouquetMakerXtream is what you want. Other bouquet plugins are also available.

    Thanks, I switched to your other plugin Jedi maker and it works great,my iptv list is on the normal tv favourites bouquet I even got epg and catch up working (after following your instructions).the only thing left is add picons and that seems difficult but I’ll try,thank you again.

    Basically make sure the time is correct on your box.
    Visit a live categories page.
    Go back to Playlist Menu.
    Then click manual EPG update.
    After a few minutes you should have EPG for channels that have EPG.
    A good one to check is UK channels. They usually have EPG.
    Not all channels / countries will have EPG. Its IPTV, its hit and hope.

    If you still got not EPG. There is an offset setting in playlist settings.
    Try -1 or +1 and repeat the process. I automate this offset based on data. So in theory it should be correct.

    You do not need to use epg-importer for the majority of providers. You should get epg without it.
    Also make sure your epg.dat file is saved to external device rather than internal. IPTV EPG can be large and overwhelm your boxes memory otherwise.

    Image and Memory Amends.

    Fixed VOD covers and backdrops occasional showing the previous image before loading new images
    New code for the backdrop so I don't have to merge 2 images together. Less memory processing.
    Moved temporary processes from /tmp/ folder into etc plugin folder overall better memory management.
