    exit plugin.

    Delete this file.
    /etc/enigma2/xstreamity/x-playlists.json

    and load plugin again

    or put a hash in front of that line. #
    open plugin. Your line will be removed.
    Close plugin. Remove hash. open plugin again to rebuild just that json entry.

  • Hi

    My sub keeps appearing twice in my playlist.

    I always keep a spare x playlist json file which has my added faves

    in case of a crash so that i can just put the file back in and get my favs back,

    So i cleared my playlist and my x playlist json file and restarted my box then

    put all my details back in and the saved x playlist json file off my laptop.

    Everything seems ok and back to normal but then a little later when i go back into the plugin

    the duplicate playlist is back.

    Just wondering if that last update release could possibly have someting to do with it?

    I'm getting something similar with 5.12,

    I have 2 lines and one of these keeps appearing twice, i tried resetting JSON, but this removed the working duplicate and left me with a non working version of the line.

    no affect on other line though..... ( would an "@" symbol in line make a difference? )


    rolled back to 5.20, and held flag for now.

  • Thats your problem you cannot have two lines the same xtreamity will just accept one of them.

  • I think you have misunderstood,

    I have 2 separate subs. They both work on 5.20.....when on 5.21 one of the subs duplicates, when I reset JSON it removes one of the duplicates and leaves behind a non working sub.....and the other sub is never affected....that's why I asked about @ symbol..

  • wasp what do you mean by none working sub if its not working why is it even enabled an @ symbol should not make any difference I have a sub that uses my email address in it.

    You would be better giving your playlist to KiddaC to look at.

    I just tried adding another account from same provider with different username and password and yes it has duplicated some of my other providers found i reset .json and moved the provider to the bottom of my providers list it is ok


    EDIT: I just added another from same provider all same DNS to bottom of playlist and it still seems ok it is not affecting any other providers on list.

  • I am going to roll back the last release, its caused too many problems. I said it was hacky. salee who the fix was for, couldn't get it working anyway. And if you have unsafe characters in username or password, the user should be contacting the provider to change it. Even if your real name has umlauts in it. (ä, ö, ü).
    Same for XKlass.

    Same for XKlass.

    Unfortunately, I don't have the option to change my username and password from my provider. Too bad, I thought it was just a conversion problem.

    Reverted the allowing of non ascii characters like umlauts in username and passwords. i.e äöü

    It was causing too many problems and creating duplicate playlists.

    You might need to clear your json file again after this update if you still got issues. Blue button on main menu.
    And check your playlists.txt file hasn't got any duplicates in it.
