Converting a modern dreambox skin to other builds is not straight forward and not a quick job.
1) Not all screens names are the same
2) Some of the skin elements differ.
3) This skin has been designed with vector SVG graphics. SVGs cannot be used on any other enigma2 box (yet). All the graphics would have to be converted to PNGs. And all references changed.
4) The author of this skin might not want it converting to other images. You would have to seek the authors permission ideally. Dreambox crew are a closed knit community. They don't share their wares. But its users want to use everyone elses plugins.
5) It has 5500 lines of code that would need checking and converting.
6) is it do-able... yes you can get something close but not exact, is it worth another skinners effort... probably not. -

Your ability is known in the field of skin design, so I appreciate your point of view
- Yes, it is not an easy task, the names of the screens are different, as well as the skin elements differ, and it need experience to understand the difference and then convert successfully
- For vector SVG graphics it is possible to convert them to png extension
- Dreambox crew are a closed knit community, but their consent must be obtained. Aren't These open sources.

- Is it worth the effort or not? I have seen many requests from Enigma 2 users wishing to use it because it is unorthodoxically distinguished from other devices.
But I cannot judge because the biggest burden of work will not fall on me, but the designer who will spend time and effort will suffer.

Here you go. biko I have spent a couple of days converting this to oe-alliance images.
It is a bit of a lazy convert (and it still took me 3 evenings), just changed svgs, to pngs and removed or replaced some elements that aren't compatible.
Make sure if your image has the option, turn off crash on skin error.
The skin will load
There are lots of missing screens
Some screen might not have 100% the correct elements, so might soft crash, resulting in blank screens. Error will be shown in debug logs if you turn them on.
Main screen like channel select, infobars (with MSNweather), menus, setup will load fine. EPG screens need some work.
I haven't changed any of the parameters in skin.xml either. Just copied the parameters from one of my other skins. These need some tweaking.
As this is not my skin, I have never seen it in use, I don't really plan on doing anything else with this conversion.
I have set the ball rolling, other skinners or users can have a go and tweaking it and adding in the missing screens.
I have provided the file as zip file. So the files just need copying over to your box.
There will be errors, it won't be perfect, and there is every chance certain screens might fail to load or crash. I have done very little testing.7968e970.png

It not works in Open ATV 6.4, opens from the original skin My Metrix.

openatv you will probably have to turn off crash on skin error.
It was openatv 6.4 i did my conversion on, so i know it works

Just quickly checked on openatv 6.4 and seems good except the Quick Launch Menu (blue button) as attached. No idea how to fix this myself so asking the developer or KiddaC.

there are loads of screens missing. It was never going to be complete from the off. If you look at the source xml files, i have commented whats missing compared to what i normally skin for oe-alliance.
As mentioned, it was just a case of getting it working for now, by copying common screens from dreambox one/newenigma to oe-alliance. It will evolve over time.
