Hi all, I see that many are having issues with the password of Openatv images .....
Nothing could be simpler, directly from the menu of your image, go to / menu / parameters / system / network and password setup and then with your remote control and the numeric keypad, write the password you want, then green button to save , a countdown will indicate that the password is saved and you can use it immediately .... Good fun ....
Problem is more by older Deambox Models(for example DM 7025,DM8000),because they have Linux 3.2 and I think this is the problem,because with 7080/820/900/920 Linux 3.4 there are no problems

if i was to flash my ultimo 4k with atv image would that let me put a new password ive not done for a long time and now ive forgotten it. is there a nother way. but the box wants updating anyway.
Password not set but you must set one once installed. Menu/Setup/System/Network/Password Setup and input your chosen password.
In my octagon image openatv 7.0 says that it records the pass but when I go to see the record
