This emmc_partitions.xml file when it opens is dinoboot 4k twin and not amiko viper 4k v30 are you sure it should work on my decoder because I installed it and the decoder does not react, there is no display and when I upload hitool-viper-v40-fullflash.xml I have a display but I cannot upload the usb.bin file on both software
If you restore with HiTool ... there is no Enigma2 restored !
so you must install OpenATV using the classic method with
GREEN button pressed during power-up !

I upload your file as in the screenshots earlier but the decoder works but without a display as if it didn't have fastboot because in hitool when I connect it calls. I have a pendrive formatted in fat32 4gb [I tried different ones] with the file usb_update.bin without any subfolders and no reaction in the hitool terminal preview I see that it doesn't boot so I don't know what I'm doing wrong sorry for whining so much but I've had enough myself.
The usb_update.bin is a replacing for HiTool in some conditions !
... if you still can activate the internal bootloader by pressing GREEN !
Sometimes ... GREEN cannot be recognized ! so the only way remains
HiToll witch connects and restore Fastboot !
If you tried to install a different image than Amiko Viper ... or
Dinobot TWIN ! your RC could be not recognized , so even you
are pressing GREEN you will not get the attention of bootloader !
I was aware of this issue with RC ! so I have a Dinobot replacement
RC witch is recognized even if the Amiko RC is not ! But ... if you
restore with HiTool my files ! your V30 should see GREEN from
Amiko RC and enable you to restore from USB e.g. OpenATV !

Tring to load "fastboot" is specific to STB's witch support
"recovery" images ... is not the case of Viper V30 ! this
looks as sometime the internal boot was rewrite with
with one from sf8008 or Viper 4K Combo ! I don't know

I managed to start the decoder but I first loaded the amiko viper 4k v40 and I already had the start logo but nothing else so then I loaded your file and then I thought it would work but no software would load only viper 4k v40 I started the system but I thought I would load v30 and that also works everything is ok only the image does not work when you want to watch TV the heads see the signal also through the menu it also works it does not play the image some idea probably overwrote something but I am surprised that your file did not want to start.

for V30 ! your STB will never play live video and audio !!!
This was the point I've started to find a recovery method !
the package I've sent to you is the result ... that can be
restored via HiTool or use the usb_upgrade.bin ! and
your STB will become again a normal V30 ! but you'll
never play live video and audio for now on !
You can see the signal , you can scan it , but never play it !
but ... you can stream it from WebIF and play it on PC from VLC !
I've made at the time the same mistakes ! you should read and
conform to my warning ... "do not use Mahdy Multiboot " !

Something has changed regarding Amiko viper 4k v30, I have a question, if I had a second working Amiko viper 4k v30 decoder, could I make a full backup, e.g. with hitool, to repair the one that has no picture and soundNo ! on my experience ... this does not work ,
some device configuration info from SPi memory is broken
and nobody will rewrite back with the right content !
I've done like this ...
- copy the first 64 Mb , block level , from working V30
- restore the backup on the affected V30 ! didn't work !
The issue is not in the EMMC !
