Cannot connect to internet

I have used Filezilla/DCC/WinSCP get connection to my receiver

tested internet connection WLAN on my receiver

with DHCP set to No to get static ip address

tested network all ticked green exept DHCP

opened FileZilla enterd my receivers Ip address and username as root no password 21 port get message

Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.

Command: USER root

Response: 331 Please specify the password.

Command: PASS

Response: 530 Login incorrect.

Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

Also tried setting DHDP on receiver to yes stored and tried again but FileZilla or any other DCC etc will not connect to my laptop
