  • Just to let you known that the sim2 2022-04-17 image has crashed on me randomly for 2 times while the system is in standby mode.

When it happens, I can't ping the receiver and pressing the power button does nothing. Only a complete power off and power on solves the problem.

Note: This wasn't a problem with openpli4. I also use a usb thumbdrive as swap, just in case the device runs out of memory.

No logs were obtained during those crashes

    1. Install image.
    2. Do normal set up in English language first!
    3. Put in a old USB 2GB or what you have.
    4. Initialise the USB via menu.
    5. Install FlashExpander.
    6. Go to applications and than to FlashExpander.
    7. FlashExpander sees your USB and you can make more space.
    8. Reboot.
    9. Check in applications of FlashEpander is active.
    10. You can also see in DCC in Tools in Memory Info that you have more memory.
    11. Now you can put in the po file in post one in /usr/share/enigma2/ en replace the map po.
    12. Reboot and you can select your language.
    13. Now you can put in oscam fies, new channel settings and so on to finalise your box.

Here's the output of opkg list-upgradable

  • This is a message to 'mrlu'.

I have a clone DM800SE. I changed the clone DVB-C tuner to an original DVB-S tuner from Dream multimedia. But the tuner is not recognised.

Is it possible for you to create a clone image with drivers for the original tuners? It seems that the only spare parts we can get for the clones are original spare parts.

Or - is it possible to install the original driver via an IPK package etc?

  • Tuner setup

    Network setup

the dude checked the image for 06/18/2022, there are no problems in the network settings and also in the tuner settings. maybe you already have a problematic power supply (the electrolyte in the capacitors has dried up)

  • Nope, I tried several times and every time I set my settings and push green for save, it is saved. When I go back they are not saved. So I installed the image before the latest image and there is no problem at all. Like the other before that one. The latest image is with issues.
