For best results, it is recommended to have no more than 10 EMM keys in each group, especially if you have many groups in your SoftCam.Key file, and make sure there are no EMM keys with the same UA belonging to different groups.

    Upload your key file bud

  • You got it. It's a mess but getting a lot of channels.

Ask a lot of questions and please offer suggestions.

  • You must have unique group id for each transponder. if you still get group id 0000, check if channel hash: 62A947B3, group id: 0583 is the same; from time to time provider change channel hash #. if you still get 0000, then delete channels & rescan; the new channel hash should show up on webif.

  • One channel on 58W tp 4040H SID 00BE has a hashModeCw: 0.
In live log it shows channel hash: 19905BBA, group id: 1158.
It clears using a PV key.

Next I opened E-Channelizer and backed up the lamedb. Then deleted channels from that sat and saved to the receiver.
I scanned the transponder on my osmio4k running openatv 6.4.
In the last scanned folder I selected the channel
    . SID 00BE.
It read channel hash: 9B081066, group 0000.
At first it didn't clear until a minute or so later. It still had a group 0000.

Many channels on this tp that did clear and did show a non-zero group before the scan did not clear. And had group 0000. I waited several minutes on each one.
I deleted the channels and wrote to the receiver. Opened the backup lamedb. Wrote it to the receiver.
All of the channels that cleared before were back and had non zero groups.

One thought. Does the group number come from the receiver or from oscam?
Another one is there are butt loads of 0000 groups in channels throughout my arc. I will run out of using this method very fast.
PVHE has seemed to not produce any data in a very long time on the pc from EMM/ECM logs.
I've also use the TS Demux function.
Could it be from a Windows update changing .net versions?
    Hey man. I'm trying!

  • Group # is set up by the user (you), and MUST be unique.

In my softcam file i use the sat position as a start for each transponder, so i can see in webif what group # is the oscam using.

Eg: P (ch hash # from webif)4AEF083B (my choice) GROUP 0433 ;43w,3772v,DHE. group 0433=43W, transp 3. You can add any comments after ; sign.

    P 6656E10D GROUP 0556 ; 55w,4177v,Paramount

from webif channel hash # is=6656E10D

    Now comes my choice:

group 0556=55w, transp 6. This MUST be unique in the entire softcam file !!!!

You can not have 2 or more same group # in the entire softcam file.

  • Here is about as far as I've managed to accomplish.
Created a new key file. Isolated one channel by adding keys until it clears.
The channel hash was found in live log. The group was 0000.
I created a group for it. After restarting oscam I see this:
(emu) channel hash: E7E1A51E, group id: 1131.

The key that works for the channel is here. By adding additional SID's for other channels on the same transponder they clear also after a restart.
    P 131100E1 01 87934134172AEF ; Working.

The AU (UA?) in the original file that was most recent is next. Formatted for this channel and added, oscam restarted.
    Channels still clears.
    P 1131 005C3287 87934134172AEF ; added by Emu Thu Jan 7 17:58:43 2021 UA: 005C3287

    P 113100E1 00 00000000000000

    P 113100E1 01 00000000000000

Now. Without showing you what I've tried (all over the place according to the guide) I cannot get that channel to clear using the hash method.
I have attempted to use a key file with just the channel hash method formatting. I just cant the the channel to clear. Mental block maybe?
Suggestions? What would you do to get it working?

  • What do you have after the emm keys ?

    in my case:

    P 6656E10D GROUP 0556 ; 55w,4177v,Paramount

    P 0556 00567335 7976AB5A4E2345 ;EMM Key

    P 0556ffff 00 00000000000000 ;Paramount

    P 0556ffff 01 00000000000000 ;

as you can see all info must be pecedented by same group id #.

pay attention to the writing: notice the spaces you need to have.

this way all chann. on this tp will use same key & will be open.
