PULSe 4K mini Features and Specifications

The PULSe 4K Mini is a new satellite receiver from AB. Thanks to its compact design, the satellite receiver fits almost anywhere. With only 14.5 x 10.96 x 4.6 cm (length x width x height), the satellite receiver is hardly noticeable and saves a lot of space. Despite the small size of the AB PULSe 4K Mini, the satellite receiver offers some features and connections.

    Features
    - 4K UHD resolution with HDR10 support
    - Multiboot function with E2 Linux OS
    - Support for multiroom and (multi-) transcoding
    - 15,000 DMIPS Quad-Core processor

The most important features include the multiboot function with the E2 Linux OS and of course 4K support including HDR10. A fast 15,000 DMIPS Quad-Core processor and a Mali 450 GPU give the satellite receiver a lot of power. There is also 8 GB of eMMC memory and 1 GB of DDR4 RAM. (Multi-) transcoding and multiroom are also supported. Another much-appreciated feature is the ability to use the picture-in-picture (PIP) function. This allows you to watch a station in full-screen mode and at the same time one or more other stations in smaller windows (possible in SD, HD & 4K UHD quality).

There are also some connections. These include a CA card reader, an interface for a CI module, as well as S/PDIF, MicroSD, HDMI, LAN, and USB 2.0 & 3.0. Of course, there is also a connection between LNB-IN and the power supply (DC 12V 2A). There is also a connection for an infrared sensor. With this satellite receiver, the connection to the television is controlled via the HDMI connection. An HDMI cable is included.

  • Support from AB ? Don't be crazy, it's like you want to lay an egg from a rooster. Android will never be there and be glad that Enigma is going there.

If you wanted something from them with Android, you should have bought either IPBOX One or IPBOX Two. The support there is also zero, but you would have the Android of your dreams.

    Nosce te ipsum.
