GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K & USB Bluetooth Dongle

Hi guys,

I have the GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K box and I just purchased an unbranded USB Bluetooth dongle that has the Broadcom BCM20702 chipset.

Please is there anyone that can guide me on how to install it properly?

I am using the Openvix 6.1.004 image.

via Telnet or Open WebIF Terminal:

Code

opkg update
opkg install bluetoothsetup-gb7252
reboot

After restarting: -> Menu -> Settings -> Operation & Interface -> Bluetooth Setup

- Search with blue and then depending on the audio device 1. or 2.

- then connect with green

Thanks URIE, unfortunately, it doesn't work.

Please see the attached screeshot.
I've also tried with the Bluetooth Device Manager plugin, but everytime I try to search a device the set box crashes :-(

Update:
I've just successfully managed to install the Bluetooth dongle on the other image, OpenATV 6.4, following your instructions. So I assume that the problem is that with the OpenVIX 6.1 and I should find a different procedure...

My mistake sorry yes I was using openatv6.4 .

you should report on vix forum they maybe able to adapt the drivers.
