oscam entitlements not updating

    My 0963 card Entitlements are gonna expire on the 04-07-2012 as you see below

    These are my config for reader and user. I was using Oscam and cccam with smartgo reader before and it was updating no problem with is setup basically. Now im using Just Oscam with Omnikey

    you need cccam or mgcamd to send update to oscam is how i understand it ?
    so it cant update in Oscam alone !

    understand rikjaard, i heard about u can update your card by using mgcamd on your box? any tutorial m8 that u kno off?

    i found is!! but i dont understand parts 4 and 5 which ive highlighted

    Pre-requisites
    White XlyCard originally paired in Xlybox
    Box key generated and inserted into newcs.xml
    newcs up and running in card server or dreambox.
    Mgcamd to be installed on dreambox.
    Omnikey card reader installed in server (or dreambox ?)



    1. Install mgcamd 1.30a/b/c/d or 1.31 and mgcamd config on your dreambox
    mg_cfg /var/keys
    newcamd.list /var/keys
    softcam.key /var/keys
    Autoroll.key /var/keys
    priority.list /var/keys
    mgcamd.bin /var/bin




    2. Check /var/keys/mg_cfg settings
    A = 01
    G = 03 (some people use 1)



    3. Edit newcamd.list (or use B16MCC’s excellent config, newcs & .list generator)

    6. When your card entitlements need to be updated you
    Switch default cam on your dreambox to mgcamd
    (blue button followed by arrow left or right to find mgcamd, followed by OK when you've found it)



    7. Force entitlement updates by tuning dreambox to a BSB channel you don't have access to with your local card eg Racing UK (some people have just used *** Sports 1)



    8. Let dreambox and server run all night and then check via Newcs web interface to see if card entitlements are up to date (may take 3 days so patience is required!)

    you have 3 accounts set up - are these internal or external shares? If you set up an internal share using CCcam protocol set up in oscam then you should be able to send EMM updates to OScam from your receiver if you leave it on a channel that your card is able to open - like sly1 for example - if they are external it may also update your card as you have au set to the same as your reader label. I find that most of the problems people have with EMM updates from sly are due to impatience - as they are infrequent.

    then left it on not sub like racing uk would it work

    not sure about the sly card because I managed to get this updated with dvbapi and CCcam or external share - not able to confirm that the newcamd has worked for me to update the card - what i will say is that my MTV unlimited card updated internally on Oscam/CCcam - with the CCcam protocol set up in oscam connected to CCcam, but the newcamd protocol didn't seem to work (unless I didn't allow enough time) - most people naturally connect oscam to CCcam with newcamd/nline (mostly to present card as local rather than lose a hop) - but from what I can see is that you might have more success with entitlement updates connecting your Oscam server to CCcam client on your receiver with the CCcam protocol.

    If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

    so make new account in oscam server, load cccam onto my technomate box put Nline with 265 at the need? left it on non subscription channel. Also i have deleted the AU out of the rest of the account but the new account which is linking to the box is added AU does that sound rite m8
