  • It is possible to display bouquets like this

No, the nesting structure of bouquets is not defined by the plugin, but by the ETSI EN 300 468 standard, which implements the Enigma2& framework. Using RC you will not be able to create this folder structure in favourites in any image. This is possible only by using your own skins, i.e., creating your own interface for selecting and switching channels in the plugin. This plugin does not have such a GUI. The plugin is a ‘bouquets generator’ converting m3u format into Enigma2 ‘bouquets’ format.

  • Hello,

There is a problem with groups containing special characters.

I have a group name group-title="FR| TÉLÉRÉALITÉ / ÉMISSIONS TV", a playlist with customize bouquets option. The process hang when it is on this group even if I disable it.

    Do you know this problem?

    Thanks

Yes. Just enter the link to the playlist. Stay on the “M3U source” field, bring up the keyboard, and enter the link you need.

I have a group name group-title="FR| TÉLÉRÉALITÉ / ÉMISSIONS TV"

    I'll check it out.

  • Hello,

Is there a command in the installation script that delete the ipk after installation? If yes, could you please remove this, the oatv upgrade image process can't find the ipk so it install the very old version one.

    Thanks

  • Is there a command in the installation script that delete the ipk after installation?

Yes, there is. But I don't see any reason to delete this command in script. What's the point of keeping the ipk after it's been installed?

I have a group name group-title="FR| TÉLÉRÉALITÉ / ÉMISSIONS TV",

I don't have any problems with this kind of group in the playlist. Perhaps the reason lies elsewhere. I need your playlist for analysis.

For the 1st part, I've already explained months ago how the openATV upgrade process works. This process install a new image from scratch, do a restore of the enigma2 settings and install from feeds the previously installed ipk and remove the previously removed ones. For a total custom installation, the process installs the ipks available on the /media/hdd/images/ipk/ directory and execute a personal scrip if it exists.

So the 1st upgrade will work and the e2m3u2b version will be yours, but the next upgrade will install the oatv feed version, so an old one, not yours.

I think you reintroduce the ipk deletion with the last version or the previous, it was not the case with the older ones.

Remember, I've asked you to remove the enigma2 restart to avoid to broke the upgrade process.

For the 2nd part I will pm you the m3u8 file.

  • Hello everyone, I have version E2m3u2bouguet v2.06, I have a list and I can't load it all. I've used it before and I can't load it at all. A few packages always show up, but the whole thing is missing and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. OpenAtv 7.5.1 vu+duo4k se.

  • For the 2nd part I will pm you the m3u8 file.

"FR| TÉLÉRÉALITÉ / ÉMISSIONS TV" is OFF

"FR| TÉLÉRÉALITÉ / ÉMISSIONS TV" is ON

Thanks for your tests. Finally it's now OK, the provider has renamed the group... So how to loose our time, sorry.

Is there a command in the installation script that delete the ipk after installation?

Yes, there is. But I don't see any reason to delete this command in script. What's the point of keeping the ipk after it's been installed?

I have a backup directory on my sdcard containing the e2m3u2 last version, the installation is made from the directory /media/hdd/image/ipk. But after the installation the ipk is deleted from all directories. Why do you do that? Even if I'm not ok with this, I can understand the deletion of the ipk in the install directory, but searching in all directories to delete the ipk, I can't understand that. Please do a fix for this.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

Some iptv providers prevent the download of their playlists by blocking tools like http, curl, wget ... and allow only to use the Xtream api. The majority of iptv providers are compatible with this api.

Have you already thinking to implement use of the api in e2m3u2b?

The format of the full m3u8 is:

    Code
    http://url:port/get.php?username=your_name&password=your_password&type=m3u_plus&output=ts

For the epg, the url is:

    Code
    http://url:port/xmltv.php?username=your_name&password=your_password

If you need more informations or a valid url , just ask.

This has been implemented for a long time. Moreover, a few pages earlier, I described how to add links to “Xstream” providers if you have a link to a playlist. username and passw

    p.s. RE: E2m3u2bouquet - discussion & support

Oh great, sorry I didn't see that!

For my 1rst test to customise bouquets I have the following error, the epg line is empty because I don't need it here

Judging by the log, it's clear that the link specified as the source for M3U “fetches” something except m3u ... Send me your link in a private message and I'll show you how it works... or doesn't work, depending on the response we get from the provider by M3U link.

Ok I send you a pm. Donn't forget what I said in my previous mail, no way to download the playlist except via the api, no other way (wget, curl, http..)

  • no way to download the playlist except via the api, no other way (wget, curl, http..)

Your problem is not with curl, wget, or other utilities... The issue is that your provider is returning a file with a ZERO size, i.e., an empty file... if you look at the HTTP response headers from your provider, you will find some interesting information there.

    Code
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Server: nginx
    Date: Thu, 28 Aug 2025 06:53:43 GMT
    Content-Type: application/octet-stream
    Content-Length: 0
    Connection: keep-alive

This indicates only one thing: that when following a link such as the one you provided in your example, your provider returns a file with zero length. In other words, your provider does not support this type of request to obtain a playlist, and this has nothing to do with curl, wget, or any other utilities... for example, you will not be able to use this link in VLC =) ...

    Hello,

Perhaps that the returned file has a 0 size, but the url is ok with the xtreamity plugin. I did some research and found the m3u4u website. This website use only the api and I can generate a m3u file. So I think there is another way to use the api than your method.

And I'd like to use e2m3u2b because with m3u4u it's not as simple to select groups to extract for the playlist generation. And globally I prefer e2m3u2b ;-)

    Thanks
