  • If I just want to download the complete FF tables, how much drive space do I need?

1,25TB for compressed files then other 1,25TB for the actual files

I did it a bit differently. I extracted the links from the source page and downloaded them in stages, i.e., individual archives. I then unpacked them to the target drive, and then deleted them from the source drive. In this case, even 150-200GB on the source drive and just that 1.25GB on the target drive would be enough.

  • While looking for other tables, I came across a thread about them on Sat Universe, and there was a very interesting link: https://csar.birds.web.id

A real goldmine for the CW miner. :smiling face with hearts:

  • Hey rush1 could you re-post this link? To the FF tables?

  • yes, doing these days...I have already some of them uploaded, I will post links today but with my current upload speed (100Mbit/s) it takes a while. In the meanwhile you can also download these files from the site mentioned before, as said, they are exactly the same as I provided them

  • Is this the correct folder and do I need ALL of these files? There appear to be 3 sets of ZIP sets in there.

I've downloaded tables for the older version of the program, V1 (both official and unofficial). It turns out they're sufficient. Maybe I'll generate chains later and share them here.

  • I'm still a bit confused. I know how to get C8's now. I also have the CSA Rainbow Table Tool. I just need to download the FF zip files, combine them, then run the C8 through the table file and it should generate a CW, correct?

  • If you're using version V1 of the program, then yes. Once you find C8, paste it in and select the directory containing the table. If you're using version V2, extract the tables from the ZIP archive. This video will be more helpful in using version V2:

  • Each of those files is about 4.38GB, when expanded they are 162GB. When you take 162GB x 25 files, that's a lot more than 1.25TB. Is the Rainbow Table Tool expecting a combined ZIP file or a bunch of unzipped files?

Sorry for all the "dumb" questions, it's just confusing to me how these 25 individual ZIP files are supposed to be used.

I use to search with Rv2 that completes within seconds then I fall back to v1 which takes minutes (in my slow pc also 10minutes)
