upgrading Blackhole

    hello all> I need help please


    I upgraded my duo from an earlier BH version to 1.7.3 I backed up all my stuff using Vu control centre /settings back up (there was no personal back up on the earlier version of black hole at this stage).


    I used the boot-loader before I upgraded to Bh 1.7.3 happy days! I then used restore settings back on Vu +Control centre no joy noting not even my bouquets on the box, luckily I had manually copied the CCcamconfig file from the etc folder to my desktop so I uploaded it using FTP restarted the box still no joy.


    i want to get up to BH 1.7.5 but I am stuck


    I hope I didn't go to close to the make with that if I did I wont ask again sorry in advance.

    you have only upgraded the kernel then the image not the settings nor anything else!!
    There is very little you can use from pre-1.6.7 to the now recent 1.7.5
    its like starting all over again from zer0 ...
    Enjoy it as it will refresh your memory of how to do things in order!!
    HINT: install TSpanel and you will see linuxsat-support ADDONS for just about all your needs !
