But how do you guys use this script, I mean do you run it manually each time or by means of a cron job? And how often?

The key changes every 30 minutes. Users post key on the forum when they find it somewhere (EMM or NET).

There is no need to manually enter the keys. Keys 00 and 01 do not change at the same time. It is important to 'stay' on AFN channels. These two keys are automatically changed via EMM keys for AFN channels. New keys are entered in Softcam.key and in this way users on the forum post the keys when they change. I use this key_patcher and it works really well. Users of py2 images still have to enter them manually because this patcher only works on py3 images.
