    am having problem install this on openatv 7.3 (Zgemma H5.2S). I put the ipk file in tmp folder and installed it and I got the following error:


    opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

    Not selecting libc6 2.37 as installing it would break existing dependencies.

    any idea why this is?

    opkg install --force-depends /tmp/*.ipk

    Seems you are trying to install wrong package.

    What is your device model?

    dont wast your time you need switch to atv 7.4

    There is no version for openatv 7.3

    You should read the topic from the beginning

    same here zgemma h9 twin se exact same problem, so I have to upgrade to 7.4 atv ? Is this correct

    Assume you are installing the ARM version for your H9 and not the Mipsel version as you are quoting from roadkiller83 post.

    tbe yes m8 you were spot on i was instaling misp instead of arm, i have it all up and running now , browser entry much easier than editing the json folder all good thankks for reply, any good portals you can indicate the way to ?

    You keep writing about the picture, but it is clear to see how you start the installation from some script.


    I will repeat it to you once and for the last time.

    1. Manually download the IPK according to your box and its processor

    2. Copy this IPK in the /tmp directory

    3. Connect to the box with telnet and enter the command opkg install --force-depends /tmp/*.ipk
