openATV 7.3 USB Image for Original Box

Thank you very much for the possibility of installing this image in dm800se. I had no problem with booting to the usb stick. Everything is nicely described on the openatv website, including how to change Primary Boot Source to usb boot.

I've DM 800 se clone which image and multiboot plugin i used in internal flash

I ran into some problems using image. Specifically with frequency scanning 11512H 30000 3/4 Eutelsat 16E. I changed Inversion, FEC, pilot and scanned Network scan, but I don't get channel names. Why is this happening?. Does it matter because the old Openatv 5.1 is in the background (flash)? I previously had Openpli 11.3 installed and there was no problem with the specified frequency.

I also installed E2iPlayer from the feed. After installation, the player will not ask you to install dependencies (which is very important), and you will not be able to start or change external eplayer3 even though you have installed Serviceapp and selected exteplayer3. The problem is with selecting the icon (only this icon, rubik's cube) where the image restarts for an unknown reason without a crash log. It was the same when I installed the player from the feed and now the Blindspo76 py3 repo. These are my observations and maybe some other users of this DM800SE image will not encounter this problem.Attached is the crashlog from a few days ago when starting E2iPlayer in plugins.

I reinstalled the image and now I have no problem with free memory. During the previous installation, I probably did not install the swap to increase free memory (sda3 partition, usb 16 Gb). Can you tell me in which paths to put the picon, movie and music folder. Whether directly in the root or in the media / sda1 path. Also, is this ok with Storage / Disks, Memory and Mount Manager after a fresh install.

I also not sure if is path for iptvplayer_rootfs correct or not for E2iPlayer. I also added in media / sda1 or must be added only on root ?

Before it was always as media / usb in my previous images. Thank you.

It's possible mount image openATV 7.3 for dm 800se also on hdd (ssd)?

I mean internal hdd.

I have installed picons in two different paths, but I can't see it in the channel list.

After restarting box no picons in infobar. What is the correct path to install picon? Thank you.

Hi,

I installed the 7.3 version but now I can't access my ftp through dcc. It says wrong username/password.

I can use the 7.3 version by pressing the start button when rebooting, otherwise it starts up with the 5.1 version.

I also had problems with access the bios. I can not change from flash to usb boot.

I have dreambox 800hd se.

What to do, please?

About my issues with picons

However, in the end I installed the picons from the feed and now they are showing .Picons are now in folder

/picon/logos in root.What I don't understand is that I previously created a new picon folder in the root and copied the Chocholousek picons, but why were they not installed after restarting the box. Can you tell me why there is also a logos folder in the picon folder, because this is the first time I see this folder in picons.

I noticed that in /picon folder are srp picons and in logos folder snp picons?Should I install the Chocholousek picon updater for those picons

The weather forecasts in the Metrix HD skin stopped working yesterday for an unknown reason. I don't know why it now shows the date April 5th, which remains the same after a reboot (full). The image was updated with date 30.09. Also, after restarting, it does not show the correct time (transponder time). Something wrong with the My Metrix add-on? Image is from this thread, patched for DM800SE. Can you tell me what could have happened and how to fix it. Thank you.
