Youtube plugin not work

    As always, those who are not afraid can try the slightly modified version 1140 for ARM + Python3.
    I recommend uninstalling the old version first !

    Hi Guys


    Also need some help on Formuler F1 Box running the latest version of Openvix 6.4.003

    I have installed Youtube through add plugins on main menu, it seemed to install OK

    So I gave my box a Reboot to make sure it had installed, now when I go into YT and

    do a Search it finds what i have looked for, so i click on the Link, it appears to open

    then sits for ages, and nothing happens !!, if i keep trying i sometimes get this

    FF_Error: Server Returned 403 Forbidden ( Access Denied ), Code 858797304

    and I dont know how to rectify this problem, I tried following a guide from

    adriano69, but got lost when he mentioned place the youtube.py file

    downloaded from post #2,942, but could not find that file ?

    P.S Youtube runs fine on my PC with no issues at all

    Can anybody shed some light on this issue

    If you do an internet search many people on enigma2 decoder are having problems with the YouTube plugin.

    Check it out..


    I know the difference between enigma2's YouTube plugin and YouTube Tv.

    So let these people do something themselves to make it work for them again. For example, let them update or reinstall ... their devices, let them simply show some effort or activity to solve it, or if not, let them continue to wait silently with their mouths open (for a roast pigeon) for someone else to do it for them and solve their problem with just a snap of a finger.

    When I look at the OpenATV forum, for example, I can't seem to find the discussions full of complaints on YouTube, I found one thread where I think there are 21 reports.

    Finally, when you look at the pictures of my last report, do you get the impression that I have a problem with YouTube, that I could not find and then play the videos?


    I use Octagon 8008 and my image built on OpenATV 7.4.

    I installed git version 1118 py3. Previously, the last available version was git 1140, but still with the same issues. It is not possible to exit the video, but only if I start the video forward and then this message appears. This happens in all other sections (video, playlists, all videos in Public feeds). Here, however, it seems that YouTube has changed something( in official website) because these messages have appeared before. The developers should fix that (and for e2iplayer as well), but some other errors appear with it.The box is DM800SE with patched Openatv 7.3.

    Panda555 wakes up the nexx45 it doesn't work for you too..

    Maybe only nexx45 works YouTube..

    I did test you old Youtube you posted, i did not work on my box

    each time i found something on YT, and clicked on the link to

    play top of screen said Buffering, i left alone for 5-10 mins

    nothing played...

    I don't think it's important to prove and show if YouTube works for someone or not. I don't use it that much in plugins anyway, but I just wanted to say that if something doesn't work (with various errors), the devs should try to fix it.
