how to load enigma2 firmware with ftp-telnet without using usb port?

Good morning, I have an AXAS HIS 4k+ and the side USB ports don't work. I had read somewhere that you can update the firmware via FTP and telnet.

Does anyone remember the procedure?

There is a usb 3 port at the rear of your box

Use a well known branded usb stick. Avoid using cheap ebay usb sticks.

And what image are you using. Have you not got a flash online option

It seems these boxes usb ports are quite sensitive. You may have to try a variety of usb sticks

Format fat32

Do a full format and not a quick format.
