BouquetMakerXtream (BMX) - v1.56

Fixed that endless loop issue I brought in, in the last release.

I have been faffing with series to - let me know what I broke

I have changed how series titles get displayed - by trying to remove more duplicate words.
I have amended the response parsing. So it might be faster. It might also break the reading of some playlists as I have made it simpler.

Live TV and VOD channels are loaded but Serial channels are not loaded. At the last stage, Serial channels get stuck, the wheel keeps turning and locks the device.

The same problem existed in older versions.

Select the series categories you want and not all the categories - simple.

Basically - select 1 series categories. Build it. See if it finishes.
If it does - then your providers series section is too large.
So select a smaller selection of series categories.

I haven't changed anything in the update.py code. As I reversed it to how it was a few releases ago.

Your error message quotes when the message box pop ups (when its finished). That doesn't pop up in timed update, only manual.

Yes, in fact, I apologize.

with manual update the decoder crashes,

with scheduled update the userbouquet.bmx_*.tv in bouquet triples.

Definitely cannot replicate any of those issues.
No modal popup crash on manual or automatic.

No duplicating of bouquets.

What sort of playlist are you building. Xtream codes playlist, external or local?
Are you using an iptv editor?
Grouped or ungrouped bouquets.

And what are you building. Live, Vod, Series?

I would delete all bouquets via the plugin and start testing again with v1.54

Ok just tried this small external line

Same settings as you.

Still no crash, still no duplicates in bouquets.

Have you got channels tuned in on your box, or is it purely used for iptv. No satellite.

yes I have sat and dtt channels + iptv .

with 1.54 no problem, with same settings .

with force-reinstall no way to downgrade,
copied old config, removed 1.55, installed 1.54, copied config cp -r old new and done the same tests
manual update and timed update .

Anybody else got any issues with latest version v1.56

I genuinely cant see any issue with the code.

I think sirk98 your bouquets just got messed up. Which was then causing issues with the plugin.
I assume latest version will work for you again.

And if anyone does have issues - can you try deleting bouquets via plugin and rebuilding - before reporting there is an error.
