Media Player 2 playlist location

Everytime I open Media Player 2 on Pure2 image v7.3, Media Player shows in playlist window movie file I was watching few day ago (from USB drive).

I have used "clear playlist" and also "remove item" options from the Menu but it is still present everytime I open Media Player.

How could it be deleted?

if you want to clear your porn channel :)

Your last movie played is in etc/enigma2/settings file

you have to stop enigma2 first via telnet

init 4

edit settings file

config.usage.last_movie_played=

init 3

As there is no such parameter in settings file may I add this?

I dont use pure2, but is there anything else in the settings file that mentions that file that you are looking for.

I haven´t find anything.

Regarding MP2 there are theese settings:

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.contextMenuType=expert

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.defaultDir=/hdd/

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.onMovieStart=beginning

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.saveLastPosition=False

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.savePlaylistOnExit=False

config.plugins.mediaplayer2.useLibMedia=True

Does the last one (config.plugins.mediaplayer2.useLibMedia=True) something to do with it?

I have almost the same menu options like you do.

Tried "delete file", "delete playlist" - but there was no one saved. Nothing helps.

take your usb out

reboot your gui

open media player

see if its gone.

I am just clutching at straws. I never use media player or media player 2

I have tried theese steps but did not helped.

I was looking for some simple alternative for MP2 but did not find anything suitable for my old mum.

Anyway, thank you for your help, ideas and great joke. :)))

Tomorrow I will try to "mess up" my settings :) and if I figure something out I will let you know.

I have found a file named "playlist" in folder

etc/enigma2/

After deleting it the movie file is no more present in MP2 so the shit is solved. :)

Don´t know how the playlist could be saved in enigma2 folder because all playlists are stored in default folder which is

etc/enigma2/playlist

Anyway, thanks KiddaC for your help and directing me to a solution.
