Login into the box and check the logs, as Linux loads, and there is some other issue (like drivers not loading ?).

In past I first flashed the Newnigma2 image for the box, booted so it could update anything like tuner microcodes etc, then flashed the open image into the flash, and generally it fixed any problem.

Always remember to deactivate the settings (as on open images you cannot import settings from a previous installation and it could corrupt your flash trying to do it).

  • Myshel ... can you detail ? running dumbo.sh from OpenEnigma ?

I've tried this and does not work ! my command line was :

    ./dumbo.sh -i rootfs-one

The rootfs-one was extracted to /tmp/dreambox-rootfs

  • Download “dosfstools” (dosfstools_4.2-r0.0_arm64.deb)

Create a dumbo folder in /data-

In this folder ( dumbo) put the script ( plugin) dumbo.sh and image.

    In telnet give the command

    1. root@dreambox:~$ cd /data/dumbo

    2. root@dreambox:/data/dumbo$/.dumbo.sh -h

After the script has been executed, it will install in “/usr/sbin”

    3. root@dreambox:~$ cd /data/dumbo

    4. root@dreambox:/data/dumbo$ ./dumbo.sh -i rootfs-one
